Cottages at Woodlands, Grooms Cottage

Was rural, absolutely silent no noise at all, well kitted kitchen & nice wet room with shower, lounge area with TV was cosy & comfortable

My only problem was the foam mattress on the bed, I bought one myself that I had to give away as I’m totally riddled with osteoarthritis, far too painful it resulted in partner had the double bed in the bedroom & I had a single bed in the lounge as not enough room In the bedroom , luckily the mattress was like my own… but was a passion killing situation for us. Sleeping in different rooms , worth warning people as some people like myself cannot lay on them … Aside of this we had no complaints whatsoever, location lovely, property well kitted out & the sound of silence was more than welcome 🙏🏻

We absolutely loved The Grooms Cottage. Everything was perfect and the hosts so friendly and helpful. We definitely going back next year as it would take a lot to beat this beautiful Air BnB . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

There was nothing to dislike

Beautiful cottage finished to a high spec. Well equipped kitchen, large bathroom, large comfy bed and a beautiful, quiet location.

Long run-on time from fan in bathroom, but only a minor point

Very roomy and everything catered for in the kitchen Very friendly hosts. Generous amount of essentials left and cake very nice

It’s very unusual for us to make comments on things we didn’t like unfortunately this time we have to say The Bathroom/ wet room was a massive disappointment Only hand rinse basin provided at very low level Disabled Wc only which was most uncomfortable to use Nowhere for shower gel or shampoo whilst getting showered No screen to shower so extra work mopping floor with poor mop. Settee very firm and uncomfortable Bedroom door faulty and would not close. Crockery not clean on arrival and had to wash everything before use.
