We love this adorable cottage in a pretty village setting, with two village inns within walking distance.. 2 steps to entrance.

On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. This charming cottage is situated on a no-through road in the popular village of Bere Regis. It is the ideal base for families or couples to explore the world famous Jurassic Coast and wide range of attractions Dorset has to offer.
With two double bedrooms and a fabulous open plan living/dining room, it’s the perfect space to relax and entertain after a day exploring this wonderful location, or during warmer month enjoy the enclosed garden or roof terrace with a glass of something cold or even dine al fresco! For more active guests, you do not have to go far to find the perfect location for a coastal or countryside walk or cycle.
Further afield you can take a walk along the coastline where you will find landmarks like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. This is one trip where you do not want to forget the camera. If you are looking to venture further afield you can visit the historic town of Dorchester, where you will find local restaurants, pubs, shops, and museums. Poole Harbour is approximately a 25-minute drive. This is the second largest natural harbour in the world and home to the famous Brownsea Island where you need to keep an eye out for the red squirrels. Regular pleasure boat trips are offered around the harbour and to Brownsea Island.
Back at the property Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum are just minutes away, and local attractions such as Sculpture by the Lakes are a beautiful day out where you can either relax around the lakes or explore the stunning gardens. We had a wonderful, relaxing week here. House was immaculate and furnished beautifully. It felt like home. Location is perfect with Poole and Weymouth 20 minutes away. Monkey World is just around the corner and was a really enjoyable day out. Wareham Forest and coastal paths all wonderful to walk on (Lulworth cove and Durdle Door a highlight).

Lovely cottage, very well presented and clean. Travel cot was provided for our baby which was great. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and lots of toys which was a great touch.The village has a small but very well stocked shop with lots of variety. There are two pubs, the Royal Oak which was great for food and the Drax Arms which was a friendly pub with a good selection of drinks, they are under new management and have started serving food which appeared to be very good value (we never ate there).We parked on the main road that runs through Bere Regis and occasionally at the church at the top of the road, no overly convenient but we were aware of this before staying so wasn't an issue.The location was a perfect, allowing us to travel to Wareham, Lullworth, Kimmeridge, Swanage, Studland, Poole with ease and returning to the cosy cottage in the evening.The host was lovely and answered all of our questions promptly and cared about our stay and comfort.Highly recommended.
