Lovely welcome from the owners.Spotlessly clean and mostly comfortable.Tea, coffee and biscuits left for us.In a very good position for exploring the local area.Hadn’t realised the house was next to a main road, so garden was quite noisy.Not in a private location, other family houses nearby.Stairs up to the bedroom were quite steep and unlit from the bottom.No dishwasher. Other amenities were fine.

Well presented holiday cottage, cleanliness outstanding, greeted by hosts, providing a tour guide to the property and guide to where everything was. The garden was a massive treat for the children, they were as disappointed at having to leave as we were too

We stayed in this lovely cottage last week for 6 days and it was such a clean and comfortable cottage. John and Kim kept in touch prior to our visit and said we could check in earlier than the check in time which really helped make the most of our first day. We had a tour of the cottage on arrival and had everything we needed, even some biscuits which the kids were very pleased with . The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are modern and well equipped, with plenty of soft towels. The garden was great for the kids.Location is super, easy to get to nearby attractions and various beaches are all easily accessible. All in all, a great place to stay with lovely hosts, we will definately stay again and thoroughly recommend.

We have just completed out third stay at this property and yet again it was excellent.Great hosts who are friendly and always available if you need any help.The location is excellent for being within easy reach of a large number of great locations including beaches, musuems and towns.With great whether it was always good to sit out in the spacious pretty garden area to relax and everything we needed was provided in the property.Looking forward to visiting again.

Our second stay here and on arrival we were met with the usual warm welcome from the delightful Kim and John. They provided us with, among other things, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, strawberries in the fridge and a huge bowl of fresh fruit. The house was clean, fresh and tidy with everything a family needs for a short break. And if you did want anything Kim and John are always on hand (without being intrusive) to help out.We had our grandkids, two girls 13 and 10, and boy 6, who thoroughly enjoyed the large, private lawned garden and its surrounding field.It’s a short drive to the local sports centre for a swim and just a few minutes drive further on to Wareham town centre and a good dinner at the Italian Kitchen on the quay.Swanage beach is great for kids with cafes, ice creams and amusements right by the beach. We parked at the main beach car park which is a five minute walk to the beach where we hired two loungers and a wind break and spent the day sunbathing and swimming. We took a picnic but coffee, drinks, food etc are available on the beach side road which is pedestrianised in the summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Kim and John’s property as a relaxing and comfortable base for exploring the local area including the Tank Museum (excellent) and Monkey World which are a few minutes away.

Spotlessly clean . Perfect for our needs. Hosts were super friendly. Location was great near places of interest. If we had to find fault which was not easy maybe bed linen was a bit old fashioned but certainly did not impact our stay. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Lovely owners met us to show us around and were on hand if required. The place had everything we could need and was very cosy. On a lovely location along with the owners property, very close to all the amenities you could need, yet quiet and private with good relaxing views. We enjoyed Weymouth, Swanage, Studland etc with plenty more to visit and good towns and pubs local too. Definitely will return.

This home was cute, cozy, and spotless! We really enjoyed our stay here and the owners were very kind and helpful, especially since this was our first time to the area and we were unfamiliar with where to visit. The house had a very nice walk in shower and all the amenities we needed. Our kids loved the fenced in yard and toys and spent a lot of time playing outside as well :)

A very pleasant home from home experience with engaging and helpful hosts. A relaxing stay with our two granddaughters who thoroughly enjoyed their rooms and the garden with plenty of space to play. This is a fantastic property at a great location. Homely and comfortable with everything you need for a visit. The owner are a lovely couple who make you feel at home and then leave you to it. But no drier or clothes line at property itself - maybe could have shared owner's line? Good location to explore a delightful part of the country. Wareham pubs excellent for food and beer. Clean, tidy & spacious property that is very well maintained/equipped both internally & externally. Accommodation is on a large private property with massive, well maintained field; ideal for run around &/OR ball games. Property is very central to the places we wanted to visit (Durdle door, Lulworth Cove, Swanage, Corfe castle etc), all being less than 20 minutes away & it's far enough from the concentrations of holiday makers, so you can enjoy the peace & tranquility of the rural surroundings. Town center is less than 5 minutes drive. Owners were very friendly & welcoming. We had fantastic few days & wouldn't hesitate to go back. Veera

We loved this holiday house, very homely & spotlessly clean. Plenty of indoor & outdoor room for the older teens. Great location & base & many places to visit within a short distance. Above all we are suitably relaxed from our holiday. I would recommend here without reservation. Biscuits & tea/ milk a very welcome gesture from the owners.

My family and I rented the cottage and it was an amazing 4 days. The cottage has everything you would need. The bedrooms are lovely and very comfortable, it was all very clean and wonderfully decorated. The outside area is very spacious. The hosts are lovely and made us feel very welcome and at home. The host, John and Kim are absolutely fantastic! The cottage is lovely, clean, and just feels like you are home! John and Kim makes sure you have everything you need and more. With beautiful scenic views and a lovely patio you may just want to stay in. The location is spot on for a visit to the many offerings of the Jurassic Coast. Durdle door, Lulworth cove, Tyneham village, and Kimmeridge Bay are just a few of the sites located nearby that we visited. The cottage has a full kitchen which made it very easy to cook either breakfast or dinner however there are many options for food around the village. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely book the cottage with John and Kim!

Property was lovely and spacey and clean. Fantastic outside area for kids to run around/play football. Local to south coast. We visited Swanage, Studland, Corfe Castle, Bournemouth, Dorset Water Adventure Park. Lots of great restaurants in Wareham. Recommend The Granary outside seating.
