The property is very spacious and well laid out. The ground floor is large and gives a feeling of calm. The large windows give a stunning view of the non intrusive field where deer regularily are seen feeding and grazing. The king sized bed has full view of the countryside through the large window and is perfect when enjoying the first tea of the day. Kitchen was perfect sized for cooking meals with every utensile to ensure an enjoyable cooking experience. The road accessing the property is very private and the property is not overlooked on any side. There is a pergola where plants cover inside of a polycarbonate roof. This was essential as it gives shade allowing you to sit on a sunrester out of the sun enjoying a drink. The sunrester can be pulled into the full sunshine, still maintaining full privacy. The Countryside pub is ten minutes walk through a unadopted lane and offers a great atmosphere and good food. The location to visit national park attractions is excellent.

Very peaceful location and perfect for exploring both countryside and coast, walking and off road cycling. Great sightseeing never too far away. The regular visits of a local pheasant parading its colours across the patio was a bonus:) We highly recommend the Sailors Return for its local atmosphere, excellent menu and quality food/cooking. The Old Dairy and it's location was the perfect choice for celebrating a special milestone and we would happily return in the future.

Excellent in every way. All our needs catered for, modern appliances, comfortable place to be. sleeping area with en suite sited above in mezzanine area. outside seating area with views across open fields. Decent pub not far up the road, could be walked to. On arrival greeted with fresh milk, scones and clotted cream. Also fresh flowers in the cottage a lovely touch. The hostess was most helpful and friendly.

Our holiday at The Old Dairy was perfect. Everything was excellent. The owners were available yet unobtrusive. They were the nicest couple you could wish to meet. The property was about as rural as you can get with lovely outdoor seating areas. Indoors was kitted out to the highest standard. We went for walks from the property across heathland spotting stonechats and other rare birds. The holiday was great. We'll be going there again soon.

Location brilliant, car parked and the adventure begins. So many villages to see walking, most with pubs so NO DRINKING AND DRIVING. We were lucky with the weather, but who cares. Back at the Dairy after a full day out it was lovely to sit outside overlooking the farm beyond so peaceful. The Dairy was impressive, everything you could have wished for was there and so peaceful! We hope we can better this stay, but don't think so!!

Just nice to get away for weekend. Such easy access to Durdle Door, kimmerage and Swanage. Property is in beautiful condition, very relaxed and comfortable. Everything you would need was provided in property including a cream tea which was much appreciated. For 2 people, which the property is designed for it is ideal.

What a fantastic place to stay. We stayed here for our Honeymoon, as we wanted somewhere peaceful to relax and unwind. We were greeted by a hamper with biscuits and clotted cream and scones, milk in the fridge and a bottle of bubbly. Such a lovely gesture. It was so lovely waking up to a beautiful views across the fields and watching the rabbits playing and we even saw a deer. The accommodation itself was so well equipped, it had everything you could need. It was very comfortable and clean, we were sad to have to leave.

We loved everything about The Old Dairy. It was spotlessly clean, light, quiet, ideally located and had a lovely rural view. In how many holiday accommodations can you lie in bed first thing in the morning and watch fox cubs playing together in the field outside? Perfect for us being avid nature watchers. The Old Dairy is very well located in a quiet area in East Knighton. Close to Lulworth Cove and lots of other places of interest and has lovely views over the fields. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the owners had thought of everything you might need. There was a very nice welcome pack and lots of useful information about the area.

Couldn't have wished for a better holiday home. Set in a lovely location and close to many sights. The weather wasn't the best during our stay, so there was a lot of time spent reading or watching the wildlife through the huge window - perfect. There is a pub within walking distance that serves food, also plenty of places to eat accessed by car. Although the kitchen has everything needed if wanting to eat in. Jane and Martin are a wonderful couple, not intrusive, but available if needed. We were lucky enough to meet their family and friends during our stay and had a lovely evening with them. When the time came, we were sorry to leave. Thank you Jane and Martin, we will be back (did we hear you say 'oh no!') Denise and Ian x

Jane and Martin are excellent hosts: they are most helpful if you need help, but in The Old Dairy there is no need. The property is perfect inside and outside and very well equiped. We hired the property as a base for walking the South West Coast Path from Babbacombe to Poole and that worked out perfectly. But we were glad we had a few days to spend on the sunny terras. And last but not least, this loft is marvellous if you want to have a view where ever you are in the property. Thanks Jane and Martin.

We stayed in the middle of November when it wasn't that warm outside and the cottage was really warm and cosy. Everything was provided, which isn't always the case, we couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The owners have thought of everything! A beautifully renovated barn, to a high spec, with a lovely SW facing garden and friendly sheep and ducks! We hired bikes and cycled to the pubs, Durdle Door (hard work on the way) and a pretty place called Moreton with a ford, perfect for children to play in and a free gardens and tea room place. Beaches, both sandy and less-accessible pebble ones are all within a short drive. We were lucky with the weather, making it a perfect holiday! Thank you.

We recently had a wonderful stay at the Old Diary, the property was exceptional and even better than the online pictures suggested equipped with everything you could possibly need and immaculately clean and well maintained. The location is very private with its own drive and garden idyllic for a relaxing break but close enough to explore the Dorset coast. After a particularly horrendous journey it was a lovely touch and much appreciated that on arrival Jane had supplied an afternoon cream tea with milk tea and coffee along with a beautiful vase of sweet peas. There are a couple of local pubs and a cafe a short walk away with the nearest beach only a 10 min drive. Jane was very informative before and during our stay was available by phone if needed. We will definitely look to return and would highly recommend this property.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Old Dairy. Lovely high standard accommodation tastefully decorated with everything you need. Owner was available if you needed anything via phone due to minimising contact which is understandable and not a problem. Good location for visiting Dorset’s tourist hot spots. Nice and private with its own drive/garden. Loved the visits from ducks and sheep. Owner had left afternoon tea and milk on arrival and lovely touches such as fresh seeet pea. Very relaxing property. 10 minutes walk to friendly local pub serving reasonable food. We would recommend highly.

What a find! Beautiful presented house in a lovely quiet location that is walking distance to the local pubs and a 10 min drive to the nearest beech, because of COVID I only got to speak to the owners once but they were both very friendly and gave excellent info about the area, my simple advice is don’t delay book today!!

The Old Dairy proved a magnificent place to stay. We knew from the website photos that it would be quite unique but it far exceeded our expectations. So much thought had gone into the preparation of the property and it was immaculate. There was so much information as to where to visit locally which was really useful although we really needed to stay for a month rather than a week! We thoroughly enjoyed the scones and duck eggs which Jane left for us not to mention the frequent visits of the ducks who popped by several times a day! We really couldn’t recommend the Old Dairy highly enough for a relaxing break in a wonderful location.
