What isn't to like? Large spacious living area consisting of bedroom/ lounge and dining area that is spotlessly clean- probably the cleanest private accommodation we have ever stayed in- easily on a par with any 4* + hotel!!!
The bed is lovely and comfortable with good quality pillows and a duvet that you wrap yourself in and simply drift off.
The breakfast selection was brilliant- several cereal options, yoghurt, fresh fruit and pastries, not to mention fresh bread and a selection of jams, spreads and marmalade.
The large bathroom with a double walk-in shower is as beautifully and tastefully decorated as the rest of the accommodation.
The view of pheasants on the lawn and a buzzard in the trees at the side and back of the property were the icing on this absolutely delightful room.
Unfortunately we only saw Stu briefly but a lovely, warm host who made sure we had everything we needed including fresh flowers and local made stollen cake for us!
We are looking to book shortly again and for a longer stay- 2 nights is not nearly enough time at this absolute treasure of a B&B.
Having to come home!!! Will book for longer next time!

Beautiful quaint and very well thought out space, excellent communication from stu and the most comfortable bed! Breakfast was super lovely too! Really appreciated the little messages on the blackboard, they really have thought of everything. Value for money is insane! ❤️❤️❤️

Stu is a fantastic host - nice to be personally welcomed back. The breakfast always goes above and beyond, I must know where you get that rhubard and ginger jam from because its the best spread I've ever had. The bed is so comfortable - it has us thinking we need to upgrade our one at home! The peace and quiet is perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
Nothing - we had a car so we were fine location wise, just recommend caution on the country roads
