Boo Cottage was beautiful clean, cosy and lovingly presented. We really appreciate the Christmas Decorations! Very close to an awesome pub.

Pretty little cottage in a rural location, opposite the village pub. Cottage was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Good WiFi, washer/dryer and TV.
The bathroom was downstairs with very poor water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to wash your hair. Only a net curtain on the bathroom window, which looked out at the neighbour's courtyard, so there was no privacy when the light was on. We tried to hang a towel but shouldn't need to! The numbers had rubbed off on the cooker knobs so you had to guess the temperature! Lastly, a replacement log storage unit was balanced by the front door for over a week before it was finally fitted, just before we left!

Boo Cottage is a lovely cottage, with most of the in good working order. As always, more room could be offered to place toilettry articles within reach in the bathroom. It is a cozy home, perfect as a base to explore the surrounding beautiful countryside and quaint towns and small cities.
Service is abominable: I had a question about the cottage and contacted the owner via whatsapp. The booking.com booking reference was not recognized by the, I believe, AI assistant that answered. Finally I provided the correct booking number and got the reply that a representative would contact me asap. Asap was 24 hours later, not with an answer to my query, but telling me that my booking first had to be checked by the representative (all the info I already gave the day before). I answered that a 24 hr delay in answering was a tad long. I never received another reply and my queary remained unanswered. Also, the shower is horrible: you either get cold, tepid or really hot water. The explanation on how to use it was faulty, there is no switch above the bathroom door to turn on the showerhead. The cottage IS lovely, the service not at all. That made my rating go down.
