Good location, excellent manager, comfy bed

Very good location, right in the city centre. It is not alot to look at on the outside and a little tired on the inside however the manager was excellent, very friendly. Had a single room and was a bit of a squeeze however the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Do not expect too much however absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel

Friendly and convenient

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I really liked the Cold War theme with the many photos and newspaper collaged walls: it brought what would have been a very ordinary building up to something more interesting. Location was good, a few minutes walk from the main squares and shops, just 100m from trans and buses to the HBf and elsewhere.

I now wish I'd spent a bit more for a double (themed) room. The single I took was quite small and very plain, unlike what features on the website.

A possible option in Bonn

The hotel people are very nice and it was an option instead of paying the exorbitant prices for some of the other Bonn Hotels. If you arrive after 8:00pm they send you instructions about getting in the front door and into your room. The person answered right away, but the back and forth through Booking was at times confusing and included form emails.

The hotel room was tiny and bare. Not necessarily an issue but for the price I was paying I expected more. Saying the breakfast was simple is an understatement. Nothing at all hot, not even cold hard boiled eggs. They could have done a lot better.

The location is perfect: just a few minutes from the center of Bonn, with easy access to the beautiful Rhine River and surrounded by charming bistros, cozy cafés, and interesting shops. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and perfect for pleasant walks. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed to relax after a day of activities. The hotel’s structure is cozy and functional, with a great breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere. I would especially like to highlight the friendliness and quality of the staff’s service. From the reception to email communication, I was always treated with care and kindness. I highly recommend Hotel Rheinland and will definitely return on future visits to Bonn.

Basic but brilliant in Bonn

Exactly what I needed - a small, clean, and comfortable place for my stopover. The space was tight but there is more than enough room for 1 person and their stuff if the plan is to be out exploring the city for most of your time. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was basic but tasty, and service was super friendly.

Street facing room was very noisy when the window was open. Not a problem in colder months as the shut window blocked out the noise but would probably be annoying in warmer months.

Fascinating hotel, well worth a visit!

Very well situated and such a friendly team of staff. The hotel is fascinating with its themed rooms and photo displays of famous meetings between German leaders and other world figures. Pleasant balcony on the quiet side of the hotel.

Limited parking facilities so we were lucky to get one of only two spaces. Not an easy problem for the hotel, however, given its urban location.

Superb

Good continental breakfast with fresh rolls and dark breads, a selection of teas and very tasty coffee. An extra bonus is that there is a sunny patio/garden out the back with comfortable garden furniture. A great place to relax after all the sight seeing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very quiet and had large windows which could be darkened with shutters.

The shower door was a little broken, but it wasn't a problem. I'm sure it is on the to do list.

Lovely stay in Bonn

The staff in this hotel were lovely. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. I liked that we were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until it was time to take our train. The hotel was on a busy street but we didn't notice the noise and it was extremely central to the tram and to town. The location was very good.

Great hotel for weekends stay in Bonn.

The staff were very friendly. The location is next to the centre which is perfect. It is a very quirky hotel. I love the photos on the wall. . For the price thought it was very good hotel and is perfect for a short visit to bonn.

The breakfast was a normal European breakfast, but a few more options, fresh fruits ect would of been nice. The single room was small and could have been better. The reception wasn't open all night, and there were limited facilities. Bar ect

This was a great place to stay. Personnel was nice and helpful. Hotel is close to the city center and to the Rhine river so very convenient. Room was clean, well furnished, and faced the backyard so really quiet. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is one block from the river where you have a choice of a number of bars and restaurants with nuce views

The hotel supposedly has parking but that is not the case. You will have to oark in nearby parking station. The wall between the bext room is not soundproofed

A great hotel for central Bonn with a car.

Very centrally located. They offer a couple of parking spaces at 7Euro a day. Book a space. We were very early and the lovely lady at reception got us parked and had a room all ready by 12.30. We really appreciated her help. Rooms and communal areas are themed. All about Bonn as the capital of West Germany, moving from Bonn to Berlin, honoured guests in Bonn. Within just a few minutes you are at the Rhein. The hotel has a lift to all 5 floors plus the garage and reception area (7 floors in total). Breakfast was the usual bread rolls, ham, cheese, jam, cereals, and yogurts. Juice, tea, and coffee. All good. Our room was at the front with traffic but with ear plugs and shutting the window in the bedroom area we slept well. They provided a fan in case it was hot. Great location for public transport, shops, and Beethovenhaus. Great for walking along the Rhein. The Indian restaurant down past the Opera House is delicious. Very convenient. Love the themed decor. Particularly poignant as we are from the UK and Queen Elizabeth II has recently passed away. All photos are from our room. Fantastic staff at this hotel.

Not a dislike, but take earplugs in case you are at the front of the hotel. The front door at ground level is easy to miss. There is a sign high up the wall but you need to hunt for it. No minibar/fridge in the room. There is an honesty fridge with drinks and snacks in room 201 but not in each room.
