Lovely stay on a stunning beach

Wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel was right on the beach which was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Disappointed with restaurant manager who promised us for my husband’s 79th birthday that we could eat mussels for dinner! When we arrived she had given them to someone else who was sitting there eating them. All she said was “no mussels” so we left the restaurant

Perfect in every way, especially the staff.

My daughter's room which was upgraded to ocean view plus terrace with a very nice shower. Located directly on the beach. Very nice breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Our room had a bathtub which was a bit difficult to access for my husband and I who are seniors.

Gorgeous hotel right on the beach

Location is fantastic right on the beach . Definitely worth paying the extra for the sea view . We didn’t have a suite but they had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea which would be perfect if staying a few days or longer . Comfortable bed and nice room and bathroom . Had a great meal at the adjacent restaurant which shared the same building - also overlooking the beach and sea.

Information overload before arrival -I must have had at least 10 messages from the hotel asking or giving information before we arrived !

Peaceful beach vacation!!

Well, there is absolutely no better location on the beach in this part of Brittany! My room was spacious enough and access to everything in the hotel was easy. The location again, location, location, location. On a scale of value from 1-10 … it’s a 12!

Excellent stay.

The hotel is located right on the beach and the terrace rooms have wonderful views. The terrace is very large (double the size of the room?). The room had all we wanted. The wifi was excellent and allowed my tablet to tune into Radio Caroline while also viewing my emails without interruptions. The car park behind the hotel was quiet and safe. The staff were really friendly.

The room had a very comfy bed.The room was a little on the small side. There was an electric kettle for our use. Modern en suite with shower.

There was no mirror in the room but there were 2 in the en suite. The full length mirror could be moved to the room. The electric kettle could do with a longer lead as it wouldn't reach the plug while on the desk.

Pleasant hotel, great beach-side location

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The room overlooked the Monsieur Hulot Beach, with a spectacular view of the local coast. Unfortunately, the weather was stormy during part of my visit, which meant that I couldn't spend any time sitting on the good-sized balcony outside the double doors to the room. Located in a pleasant little village which has lots of references to Monsieur Hulot and his famous Holiday there in the 1950s. Reachable by bus from St Nazaire railway station (bus service U3 at the time of writing, final destination Chemin de la Source, but alight a few stops before it at the "Jacques Tati" stop which is about five minutes' walk to the hotel).

The room was smaller than I expected. I did wonder whether there might have been any scope for the hotel to extend the room a bit, using up some of the spacious balcony, but I doubt that the hotel could justify the cost and effort involved for what would provide only a modestly-sized improvement to the bedroom space.
