    Stayed at Colonial Lodge Motel, situated at the northeat part of Lake Taupo as part of our road trip. It is a nice cozy room with all the facilities. As it was windy and really cold, appreciated the heaters (bed, room and toilet). Anthony gave us good advice on places to visit. His recommendation to have dinner at Chengdu Chinese Restaurant was great. Took a short walk along the lake before we left. Would have a fantastic view on a clear day.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. The staff extremely helpful. The faculty is tired, but the pricing reflected that and all our expectations were met
