Blenheim House - Luxury City Centre Georgian Townhouse for 8

Beautiful place, superbly appointed and situated. Well equipped, comfortable and close to everything. Would highly recommend. Great communication and parking extra well worth it.

This property was excellent, beautiful spacious Georgian house over 3 levels. It was brilliant having the lounge to chat together in the evenings and there was plenty of space to eat when we dined in as there is a dining room and also a table in the kitchen/ diner. 3 shower rooms and an additional toilet too. It couldn’t have been located in a better position either… 3 or 4 minutes walk from the Abbey and Roman Baths and lots of places for breakfast nearby too. We had teenagers with us and they were easily able to explore Bath independently and we’d then all meet back at the house to plan evening meals in and out. We had a Tesco delivery to the property which worked well, very good kitchen facilities including a dishwasher, house was beautifully clean. There were 7 of us in this property aged between 13 and 53 and we all had an excellent holiday.

It was a little tricky getting good airflow with the old style sash windows in 2 bedrooms but we did visit right in the middle of a heat wave and those period features are one of the reasons we chose to stay at the property so we shouldn’t complain!

Great property for a group or family to explore Bath. Central location with a couple of long stay car parks within 5 mins walk. House was very well equipped and a lovely home to stay in.

The location was perfect as was the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen space.

The beds were horrible - my aging uncle, sister and I spent sleepless and painful nights in the beds, awaking numerous times as the beds are either quite old or otherwise unsuitable for sleeping. We awoke with painful joints and muscles. the beds should be replaced with beds that are much more comfortable. The owner should provide written instructions for how to dispose of waste and trash - there are none - as well as proper operation of the dishwasher and washer for guests who come from out of the country and may be unfamiliar with these machines. There is a piece of moulding inside the dishwasher on the left side that finds its way outside the dishwasher on closing, so that it will not start. however the user may not see that and believe he or she has somehow made a mistake with the buttons, creating frustration. It also may be useful to advise prospective guests in the property description that noise from the street comes into the front bedrooms all night long. My sister changed bedrooms hoping to get away from the noise, as well as to find a more comfortable bed, but found neither.
