About this house rental
Backing up to Old Settlers' park, our modest, rural home sits on three acres. We are a short drive to sport fields, the Dell Diamond, and Kalahari’s largest indoor water park. We offer you a clean, basic, functional home great for multiple families, hosting reunions, and even sports teams. Enjoy sleeping on the new coolgel mattresses. A gentle breeze provides a pleasant backyard experience around the fire pit with outdoor string lights. Special events and pets are accepted on a case by case basis at additional cost.
The space:
The acreage is topographically flat which is perfect for large outdoor family activities allowing children of all ages to run around and release energy in a safe open-air environment.
The property is located in a unique rural setting surrounded by all the conveniences of city amenities.
Our neighbors have a few cows, horses, mules, goats, and longhorns which can be viewed by walking down the street.
If you are looking for a place to get away and relax or host a special event with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all your loved ones, then this is the venue for you. We would love to host you.

Guest access:
The designated outdoor space directly in front of the house and behind the house that features a beautiful backyard which includes six benches, a fire-pit, and firewood - as well as the large field to the south. The shared space is the east field in the direction of Old Settler's Park where the frisbee golf cage is located.
Other things to note:
Well water - On rare occasions, there may be a sulfur smell which is normal for a home on well water.
The modest, plain, ranch-style home, built in 1976, is very clean, has fresh paint with a pop of color, new kitchen appliances, and new modern flooring throughout.

We were in town for a tournament across the street at the multi sports complex. It was great bc we were so close we could walk to the games. And we did a couple of times.
House was big and comfy and had all the amenities we needed for our trip. When we weren’t at the fields we were relaxing and playing games at the big table in the dining room with the boys.

Marion is a great host and the best at communicating that we have had in a host yet. House is in a great location and just as listed

The house was great for our party of 12. Spacious and very convenient. The communication with Marion was flawless and she was very kind to accommodate us with a place to improvise a fire place for our BBQ. The beds were as comfortable as they can be, probably the best I have ever slept in a VRBO stay. Be aware that there is a guest house next to it (garage acting like a guest house). This was not in the description of the main property in VRBO. Although we didn’t have any problems at all with the neighbors this did not go very well with some of the members of the party that were looking forward to be more secluded.. House is dated but very well taken care of. We had a great time, thanks for everything Marion!
