About this house rental
Situated in the heart of the park of the Château d'Hodebert, the maison des Ecuries d'Hodebert is the ideal place to meet up with friends or family to visit the castles of the Loire Valley and enjoy nature.
The former stables of Hodebert housed several stalls, a saddlery and accommodation for the lad, as well as a forge and a carpentry shop. This almost abandoned building required extensive work to create a comfortable and authentic guest house. With its independent access alley, the arrival to the stables through the forest is magical.
Our philosophy: to fit out a house as if it were intended for our friends, our family or simply for us.

The house is decorated with care, very quiet and ideally situated for exploring the Loire castles, vineyards, antique shops, etc....
It is very comfortable with its 3 bathrooms and its large kitchen as well as its large outdoor space reserved for you (parasol, garden table...). Heated swimming pool from the beginning of June. For large families or friends, possibility to be up to 12 people by renting the gate house (4 people) located at the entrance of the property and even 18 by booking our 3 guest rooms.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Maison des Ecuries. Our host, Ivana, could not have been more welcoming (breakfast items, tea/ coffee, even dishes of kiwis from her greenhouse were there), and we felt immediately at home. The stables are close to the main house but very private. The main point I want to emphasize about the place is how lovely they are - I have stayed at MANY VRBO houses, and this one is has the best interior design by far. Huge kitchen with lovely round table to eat at, wonderful living room with enormous fireplace (where we had lots of cosy time together as we were there in December), well-appointed bedrooms (two of the upstairs rooms interconnect with two bathrooms and baths). You want to go out and explore the Loire chateaux and restaurants, but you also want to buy the delicious local food and cook at home. We explored the area (tons of chateaux, big and small), walked in the woods, played tennis in the rain, even found a padel ball court nearby.

We had a lovely stay as 8 adults at the chateau. Ivana was very welcoming, hospitable and provided helpful information on the local area. The whole estate is beautiful and peaceful and a great place to relax. Comes highly recommended!

It was a pleasure to meet Ivana and her family and spending time in their wonderful and thoughtful and stylishly furnished house. For anyone, who wants to spend their holidays together as a big family or with friends this is a full recommendation ! The pool has just the right size and depth for families with smaller children too.

Séjour très agréable, idéal pour se ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique - Accueil très sympathique et en toute simplicité des propriétaires - Belle réussite de rénovation en gardant l'authenticité du lieu - Gîte très propre - Beaux volumes - Grands lits - Plusieurs salle de bains - Très bien situé pour visiter des châteaux à 30 minutes de la location
