Casa Salinas, Elegant Flat w patio in Taviras Historical Centre

Location was great - walkable etc. Style of property is really nice and authentic and kitchen was well equipped. TV and Wifi were a bonus. We also visited beautiful Tavira beach (easy by ferry) and the local olive processing plant which was fun and informative

We arrived on the Tuesday evening and we went out to eat - when we returned to the property there was scaffolding up next to the front bedroom window which was a bit of a surprise! Workmen started hammering and working the the morning at 6am!! not very relaxing at all and not what I expected on holiday. I did report to the owners who said they knew work was happening (felt they should have mentioned that at point of booking) but that they would find out and report back to us what the working hours would be - they did not come back to us on that. Interestingly there was a note in the house file that quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am to be respectful to neghbours! The other slightly disappointing issue was having to take things to recycling and bins (despite paying clean fee) but there was nothing in the property to help us transport the recycling which was a walk away! a recycling basket with handles would be an improvement

Comfortable base with thoughtful design Our stay in Tavira was really enjoyable. This apartment offers a wonderful blend of comfort and practicality, perfect for exploring the charming town. Access & Bedrooms: The entrance does have a few front steps, but they're manageable even with luggage—no issues for us. Inside, each room features two full-size beds with plenty of pillows and air conditioning, which makes sleeping very comfortable. Bathroom & Living Spaces: The bathroom is well-appointed with both a lovely overhead rain shower and a handheld showerhead for flexibility. Small note: complementary toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body soap would be a nice addition, though it's really no big deal since there's a grocery store just a short walk away. Kitchen & Living Spaces: The kitchen is generously sized with ample counter and cabinet space, making meal prep easy. What we really loved was the thoughtfully designed seating area and outdoor table and chairs positioned in the center of the room—it creates this wonderful connection between indoors and outdoors, bringing natural light and air into the space. The small living room with TV was perfect for unwinding in the evenings (we especially enjoyed catching the late-night World Cup games!). Overall: The apartment is well-equipped with everything needed for a short stay. It's a charming, comfortable base for exploring Tavira and the surrounding area. We'd definitely return.

Appartement erg donker, patio ongezellig en donker. Badkamer met rioleringsproblemen.

The location is great and practical to travel to the beaches, go to the supermarket, enjoy tje city

The bathroom needs a little fix with pipeline (nothing serious) however the shower pressure is great and nice warm water!
