Casa Salto Tavira by Junto ao Mar

What can I say about Casa Salto Tavira. This is possibly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in on the Algarve. The property is situated in the old town, a stones throw from the river, and just 4mts walk to all the shops and restaurants. It is in a very quiet back street and during our 1 week I think we saw 10 cars, 1 of them ours! You enter the property up a small flight of steps, and through the charming wooden door and into a reception area, well equipped with books for your reading pleasure, and a selection of guides to the area, a very welcome addition and something other accommodation should look at doing. Beyond this is one of the best equipped galley kitchens I have ever seen with absolutely everything you would need to cook for yourself if so chosen. Beyond that through a lovely wooden door with a quant ships porthole in it, lies the bedroom with a very large and comfortable bed, and a huge wardrobe space. There are plenty of clean towers of all sizes and a single air conditioner unit which is extremely efficient and very welcome when we were there due to a bit of a heat wave in the area. Coming back through the kitchen and into the reception area, are the stairs leading to the upstairs and the we equipped bathroom and shower, and the living area. The bathroom also has a washing machine in it. I see that someone complained about the shower being cold. It was piping hot, but only lasted for 5mts or so. I do not think this is a fault, rather an energy saving feature so you don't run the hot water for hours. To fix this, turn off it 2 seconds and back on again, hey presto, hot water for another 5mts. The main living area is well equipped with a bed settee, coffee tables and a selection of games and a large TV. It also has another very efficient air conditioning unit. Beyond the living area are the doors leading to the terrace equipped with a wicker settee and a large table and chairs.

Douche pas géniale

Tolle Lage in der Altstadt von Tavira. Nettes kleines Häuschen mit schöner Dachterrasse und guter Küchenausstattung. Bequemes Bett. Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Wegen der Sommerhitze konnten wir die Dachterrasse leider nicht benutzen. Das Bad liegt im 1. Stockwerk.

La casa está ubicada en una zona céntrica con una bella terraza. Tanto la cocina, como el baño y el dormitorio están bien equipados, y los utensilios están nuevos o poco usados. El espacio de la terraza es un lugar agradable para disfrutarlo durante la tarde y la noche.

Recomendamos cambiar el sistema de persianas de la habitación del dormitorio para evitar la entrada de iluminación natural de madrugada.
