The location, and the terrace!
I knew there were stairs but hadn’t really thought about how much I would be going up and down all day - but it kept me fit!

An absolutely lovely house not really far of the banks of the river Gilhao. Well furnished kitchen, lots of space to put away luggage, good bed, great terrace, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Easy and friendly contact through WhatsApp with owner. My second time here, for sure not the last time.
The terrace can be pretty hot when the sun shines. There's a parasol at the table outside, but another one near the seats would be very welcome.

Location great, a short walk to the ferry boat and to local restaurants and bars.
Bed very comfortable and super king size.
Lots of wardrobe space and hangers.
Kitchen well equipped.
Felt homely.
Stairs very safe.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, I don't think I could recommend casa Salto enough.
Definitely 20/10
