Casa EVA Amêndoa

We loved everything about this clean, well stocked apartment! The location is great and allowed us to walk everywhere. It's only minutes from Old Town restaurants, tours and a grocery store. We ate every day on the apartment's terrace. Inside, everything worked perfectly: the shower, the washing machine, the dishwasher, stove, A/C, etc. Loved the efficient 15 minute option on the washing machine, and things dried quickly on the apartment's drying rack. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. The host Nicole was helpful and easy to contact.

The lock on the door worked but was not a style we were used to - I would recommend trying it while Nicole is with you.

The location was perfect - on a quiet street, close to a food store and every kind of restaurant. The AC was efficient and much appreciated on the hot days we were in Tavira. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved everything!

These are small things: The door lock was a bit puzzling to us! I’d recommend guests double check about operating it. We weren’t expecting that we would need to take our garbage to the bins at the nearby store, but perhaps this is common practice in Portugal. Be aware that there are bins to sort the garbage when you get there. Not a complaint. Still a 10 out of 10 for us.

Great, well equipped, clean apartment. Bed comfortable and excellent shower. Loved the balcony. Air con quiet and worked well. Close to many lovely restaurants. Parking easy outside and free. Owner very helpful and friendly.

The neighbours wake early. Wear ear plugs if you want to sleep in. Wouldn’t stop us booking again as apartment is wonderful.

The property was great, the entrance from the street was very unassuming and unattractive.
