The apartment was beautifully decorated, authentic and quirky on 3 levels with a delightful roof terrace to relax and 2 large bedrooms with a well-equipped large kitchen on the floor below. Location was central and good. Matilde a very helpful host.

As others have mentioned the apartment is on 3 levels with steep tricky steps which is just how these houses are built but would be tricky for elderly, infirm or young children. Also only one bathroom on upper levels so if both bedrooms used one would have to cross an outside landing to use the other bathroom in the night or down outside stairs to use toilet by kitchen . Also one had a low doorway so we do bang heads but soon got used to it.

The property was in great location, easy to get around Tavira but quiet enough to be peaceful as well. The roof terrace was perfect, lovely views across Tavira. The pool was small (and cold) but lovely for cooling off in the very warm weather. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay.

The stairs to the rooftop terrace were a little narrow, you need to be very careful using them.
