My husband and I loved our stay. It was late June and warm when we arrived but the AC was on and the unit was ready and clean when we arrived. We always had close street parking each night for the week we stayed. I gave it 4 stars on location just because there were a few homeless nearby sometimes - so if that makes you feel uncomfortable- just be aware. They weren’t camped out, I always felt safe and we never had any problems. Otherwise it was amazingly close to a grocery store, coffee shops, gas stations, downtown etc etc. I read in other reviews that people didn’t like the Train - honestly the windows are thick so as long we kept them closed we didn’t hear the train. The AC helped muffle the train noises too. We didn’t need the earplugs. But if you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep with the windows open - you will definitely hear them or need the earplugs they provide. I also read some didn’t like that the view from the window was a liquor store. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting. You see the side of the business and theyjust painted a really great art mural so I thought it was fine. I didn’t pick this place cuz of the scenery. You can’t even see the business doors so you don’t see anyone walking in and out of the store. Not a big deal to me. The kitchen was great and supplied well enough for me and my husband. Nice hot water for showers. We were comfortable when we were there and close to the freeway and downtown for our needs. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Great little place! So convenient and close to the Podium, I was there for my daughter's volleyball tournament. Only negative was that it overlooked a liquor store, but I kept the blinds closed so not really a big deal.

easy to get around from the vrbo! a fast drive to downtown or a leisurely walk and relatively close to a park where i was able to go for a run. the apartment was clean and comfy, tho if you are a light sleeper, there were def train noises through the night. they had some ear plugs stocked in the bathroom.

The Studio is as pictured and the kitchen space is great. But the view out the windows is of an overpass, train track, and the parking lot of a liquor store. It's a little noisy. Also, the blinds do not adequately block the light. There is no full length closet space and very little drawer space. One less sofa and a dresser instead would be better. The patio is shared with a second upstairs unit. It has a high wall that secludes it from the train and liquor store. However it's down an inside flight of stairs from the unit, so eating out there is not practical unless you grill and use disposable plates.

The location wasn’t the best first of all due to how close it was to all the downtown homeless riff raff as it’s right behind the sunset Grocery so it’s not the best place to walk around especially when it gets dark. If you prefer a quiet relaxing stay definitely not a first choice due to the dog next door is out barking all through out the day and there is no break from the continuous cycle of trains passing by 24 hours out of the day. But if you don’t mind those things the unit would be perfect. It’s comfortable and very nicely put together as well as the host was very helpful but grants you the privacy you want!

We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the sound of the train and the sun shining in through windows in morning. There was an odd oder and had to keep windows open and mattress was harder than we like. Other than that it was wonderful!

Exactly like the photos, this studio was a very comfortable stay. Yes, it’s close enough to the railroad to hear and feel the occasional train, but I had no trouble sleeping (there’s even a white noise machine provided, in case anyone needs it). The bathroom was well stocked with extra supplies (floss, shaving cream, etc.) should anyone have forgotten something, and the kitchen/pantry was very well stocked with convenient snacks and drinks, a pleasant surprise. Hannah and Kalani were communicative and clear, and their instructions for self check-in were easy to follow. I felt very well taken care of. 8 minute drive to the airport, perfect for an early morning flight.

We really enjoyed our stay except for the fact that the nearby train runs all night. If you are from the city and are used to city noises then you should be fine but I am live in the woods with no neighbors so the train woke me up all night. But they do provide you with ear plugs! Which I thought was very thoughtful. Everything was immaculate. They had coffee, and tea and sparkling water and snacks too! Plus complimentary toothpaste and toothbrushs which was great because I had left mine. I would recommend this place for sure

I was not disappointed with this apartment. The owners were so helpful in every aspect. I had set yp a getaway for my partner and myself and they helped to coordinate delivery from the florist before we even got into town. Such simple check in and the location while in the downtown district was still pretty amazing. Will definitely rent this apartment again and will send my friends and family to them as well. Best place ever!!!

This was a nice apartment carved out of an old home. Not the sort of neighborhood I want to have to carry my laundry to the near-by laundromat. The noise from the nearby trains was also not a good experience.

Great spot that’s walkable to downtown tho’ there are restaurants/bar and a grocery store in the immediate vicinity. Smallish yet plenty of space for a week-long stay, and it felt as though our hosts must have spent a good deal of time equipping the place with anything guests might possibly need. My husband enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen and also remarked on the quality of the mattress. We rented bikes from the Bike Hub, and also had a nice meal at the Gilded Unicorn one night.

Hannah place was very clean, comfortable, and just like the pictures. It had everything I needed during my stay. You are pretty close to the train track which does past through at night but ear plug are provided which are very helpful! Great stay, highly recommended!

My husband and I came over from Seattle to visit my mom and we have found our new place to stay. Clean and cozy, we felt secure and at home in this lovely little VRBO. Would recommend and we will definitely be back whenever we come for a visit! Bonus points if you get to pet their 15 month old love of a pup on the front porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this unit. Communication and check in was a breeze. Street parking (free) was always readily available right in front the house. The space was accurately depicted in the listing, clean, safe, and with everything provided we needed. We enjoyed a brief two block walk to El Que for amazing food and drinks. Grocery store is just around the corner. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
