Cobblestone Cottage

Amazing location, cute cottage with everything needed right in the middle of ambleside. Perfect base to come back to after lovely walks and cozy in the evening. Contacting provider via phone was super easy with good customer service.

Instruction on finding the car parks was a little difficult to understand.

The location of this property is ideal as it is right in the centre. Although the cottage is small, it is perfect for a short break. On arrival, the cottage felt clean and warm.

Before arriving, I was spammed with a lot of emails. The emails were repeated and often overbearing with information. Additionally, the information given about "how to get to the cottage" was complex and could've been a lot simpler, an image of a map would help. Due to the complexities of the instructions we decided to park before arriving at the cottage, we paid for a long stay carpark, annoyingly when we arrived at the cottage there was a parking permit for us to use. Therefore we paid for parking and we didn't need to! The cottage itself was lovely. However, we did feel it was missing the basics. For example, it would be nice to have more than 1 toilet roll.
