We really enjoyed our stay here, couldn’t fault it at all. The cottage was clean, had great facilities and in a great location. It was perfect for the 2 of us.
The only thing I wanted to say is the people upstairs (I don’t know if local or another holiday rental) were quite noisy from quite early in the morning. This didn’t bother us too much as we were up early anyway but this might bother other guests

The location was really good, the facilities were just ideal for us, handy for parking with pass for the car. Been to Ambleside many times this was a great find will be back again.

It was self catering but we've done this before and had a little welcome pack with a few coffee sachets and T bags - nothing at Sycamore
We'd given our arrival time in advance but the cottage was very cold when we arrived - had to work out heating after a 2.5 hour journey, then look for a Tesco just to be able to have a cup of tea
