About this apartment rental
The Nook door is always open please come and stay in our luxury Cotswold Annexe. Are you looking to enjoy a break in the Cotswolds or do you need to stay somewhere homely for work? So much is on offer in the area, please see below for all the details.
Our annex is totally self contained with it's own entrance leading into the light and airy main living area where you will find the sumptuous king size bed and small sofa where you can sit and relax, a full size fridge with freezer box and a cute breakfast bar for two. You will find a compact and bijou country kitchenette with large sink, microwave, toaster, kettle with tea and Nespresso coffee machine . The ensuite bathroom has a super modern shower that you can bluetooth your music to whilst the colour changing lights add to the ambiance, oh, it will spray you with water as well.!
The room has been fitted with white wooden shutters for your privacy which adds a little chic touch as we designed the room to bring the boutique hotel feel to Minster Lovell.
The property has its own parking right outside and is accessed via a wooden gate along a cobbled path.
Minster Lovell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from Burford, Blenhiem Palace, Caswell House (gorgeous wedding venue) and only 20 minutes from the centre of Oxford. We are conveniently situated for visiting the famous Bibury and Bourton on the Water ( quintessential Cotswold villages) . We are only 40 minutes from Cheltenham, ideal for the races. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Daylesford are accessible easily from here. If you fancy some retail therapy Bicester designer outlet shopping village is a wonderful day out. There is a public bus stop immediately outside the house and the nearest railway station is Charlbury which is only a 15 minute drive. And of course the latest edition to our area The Farmers Dog (Jeremy Clarksons pub)- a six minute drive away ! Downton Abbey was partly filmed in beautiful Bampton which is just down the road . The property was so impressive, the area very unique and the service by Vikki and Simon extraordinary! We loved everything about our stay and wished that it could have been longer. Vikki has thought things through and knows how to make her customers happy.

We chose The Nook because of it's location in the Cotswolds! It is very charming and Vikki, the owner, is amazing! She was very responsive throughout the entire process! Upon our arrival she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. She also checked in with us the next day to see if there was anything we needed! The check in and check out process was simple and straight forward. Vikki has really put thought into the Nook's decor and amenities. Even though we didn't use them, she had very nice robes for our use.We would highly recommend The Nook if you want to travel around and see the Costwolds and Jeremy Clarksons Farm Shop and pub, The Farmer's Dog. We spent our full day driving to all the little villages which were easy to access and didn't take a lot of time. We would highly recommend checking out Bourton on the Water. It is super cute.

Absolutely fantastic 5 day stay at this lovely property in August. The host Vikki was there to meet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. There was a bottle of wine, homemade cakes and a pint of fresh milk which we thought was a nice touch. The accommodation ticked all the boxes and the property was spotless and everything looked brand new. Perfect location for visiting all the best rated villages in the Cotswolds. Lots of fabulous walks and the scenery was just amazing. We will definitely be looking to book again soon.
