Very comfortable accommodation with a short drive to the town centre restaurants.

This was a great location just outside of Burford, a short drive to the town's shops and restaurants (Dolce Vita was a nice Italian). The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed came it very helpful when my 9 month old decided she didn't want to sleep in the cot. Bedding in the footstool. The wardrobe was ample, and a useful light in the mirror in the bathroom. Bathroom looked newly done with a great overhead or hand held shower option. Huge garden centre a few minutes away (although some of the items are twice the price of even Waitrose, but it has a massive range). The parking is at the end of Manor Road (an unadopted road). Useful bits and bobs had been left for guests to use, including a helpful phone charger. We unloaded most of the stuff from the main postal address street - assuming the parking was a further walk away - but the parking is right next to the property.

Watch out for the potholes on the way to Burford, we lost a tire to them. The parking area was a bit muddy (but we were in the middle of a storm)

Beautiful, cosy staycation, perfectly located for beautiful East Cotswolds

It had everything we needed for a gorgeous weekend getaway! The bathroom was exceptional! Bed was super comfy.

Only that the living room was very cramped - we would personally have forgone some furniture for more floor space - we just ate off our laps for example rather than a table etc.

Highly recommend it was a lovely little place to stay.

The location was excellent in order to get into Burford, although it is still a short drive. The host gave taxi numbers in case we needed but we just drove as I wasn't drinking. The locals said taxis can be a bit difficult to get but we never tried. If you want somewhere thats walking distance from a pub then this wouldn't be great for that. Very good location for the Farmers Dog and Diddly Squat though! Quiet area, easy to find and parking. Nice deco inside.

If I had to comment, the connection to the internet for the TV in the bedroom wasn't great, very glitchy so we gave up but it was ok in the living room. But of course we weren't there to watch TV so no worries. Don't think my friend found the sofa bed very comfy but they never are, there was an overlay mattress for it too.

Cosy by name and nature

Close to Carterton and the Farmers Dog, warm and cosy, in a quiet area of town. Plenty of kitchen facilities and outdoor equipment to use. Communication was excellent from Naomi throughout, thank you. A great find for us to stay and thoroughly enjoyed

Not the fault of Naomi and Rich but be aware taxis are hard to get in Carterton and district and the property is a 30 mins walk from some areas

Amazing getaway for couples

Nice little getaway, out of the way and lovely area with private parking. Bathroom was amazing, kitchen had everything you need and the bed was comfy

I think it should be advertised as a two person getaway as with our 8 month old we felt it was difficult to get around the property as it had a lot of furnishings and which took up a lot of room that was not needed.

Gorgeous little stay, home from home

This place is a little gem! Located on a quiet estate there are plenty of amenities around, plus easy access to the A40. The place itself was immaculate and it had everything we needed- kitchen utensils, a bedroom fan, spare toiletries. My husband and I said it felt more like a home than a holiday let because it’s so beautifully furnished, cosy, well equipped and comfortable. We loved it!

Nothing at all! Just note that there’s only 1 parking space at the property itself, but this isn’t a problem because there is plenty on the immediate surrounding roads

Lovely cosy apartment in a well situated area. We would happily stay again.

The apartment was very well situated and very good value. Close proximity to Burford, the Wildlife Park and other lovely areas. We were also able to make use of the BBQ on the terrace which we thoroughly enjoyed. While cosy the apartment also had ample room.

The bed was quite soft and a bit uncomfortable as it seemingly had a mattress topper on it that was too large. However it wasn't a problem for us to sleep.

Gorgeous apartment, lovely hosts and would highly recommend :)

Amazing apartment and perfect hosts (Naomi and Rich) They even checked in on me to see if everything was OK :) The whole apartment was beautiful, has everything you need and more! Lovely quiet area with parking next to the apartment, and added bonus of a lovely patio to sit and enjoy the sun. The bed was super comfy and felt like a home from home, can't wait to stay again when I'm working in the area.
