I'd be more than happy to stay there again if I'm ever in that part of the country.

Wasn’t the best but was very cheap . But won’t use again. As not suitable

This was a last minute booking. Read reviews thought ok for one night. Advertisement said use off pool that was closed . WiFi even though we were given code/ password we were unable to use it. Bar was closed . Staff on reception desk wouldn’t ring to book taxi he just give us two numbers. One was wrong number other didn’t answer. Had to get an uber taxi but as we couldn’t get on the Wi-Fi was very difficult. I understand this is a college but rooms were a bit scruffy, hard pillows, shower blocked so had water all over the floor . But it was very cheap but didn’t suite what we wanted

It was far from town. Looking like an old scary building. Right opposite us was a derelict block looked like it needed knocking down with railing around it. So felt uncomfortable leaving car in car park

Friendly reception

Restaurant refused to sell food on weekend (although the kitchen served meals/ breakfast to a select few guests). This was a big disappointment and surprise, especially on cold wintery night. Also there’s nothing closeby. All taxi contacts suggested need to be updated. Exasperated by poor availability and switched to Uber. There was NO ROOM cleaning/clearing/fresh towels on Day2. Pathetic service including poor wi-fi. Although a friendly reception.

Great location for the FSC parkrun. It’s a short walk to Moreton-In-Marsh where there are a number of pubs and restaurants. Clean room and friendly reception staff.

Great location, good value option for an expensive area.

A really great value find in a very expensive area. Travelodge come university halls style accommodation, friendly staff (apart from one grumpy security guard) and a great location. Easy access, happy with our very late check in (10:30pm) and complementary car parking.

I didn’t want to post anything negative being as the price and location was good and it may have been my room only, however, the fan in the en-suite bathroom was incredibly loud. It kept me awake all night with no option to turn it off. I know sometimes the fans stop after the light is switched off, not this one. This could have only been our room it really was deafening at 3am with silence outside.

Comfortable, budget accommodation with friendly staff.

Comfortable budget accommodation, perfect for our stay in the Cotswolds. Easy to find, very welcoming reception staff and the rooms were spacious.

Some facilities felt a little tired but we only needed somewhere to sleep as we wanted to be out and about exploring the beautiful surrounding areas!

Affordable, very comfortable and clean

This was the second time I have stayed here. The room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Set in extensive grounds there was no noise at all. The bathroom was spacious with a wet area instead of a cramped shower cubicle. I was later arriving than expected owing to heavy traffic but the security gate in manned 24/7 so there was no problem checking in. This is very reasonably priced, particularly compared with all alternatives in this highly popular tourist area.

Lovely welcome from the guy on the gate, which was so welcome after a long drive! Easy check-in as everything was waiting for me.

The rooms are basic, but perfectly serviceable. As no food available on site, some cutlery to be able to eat food would have been helpful in the kitchen (not in the room but just along the corridor).

It was fine except for receptionist’s curt manner

Location

The property is adequate a few minor issues (light over bathroom mirror not working and out of reach for short people, shower screen not effective causing flooding, bedside light not effective) needs some maintenance. Worst of all was the attitude of the receptionist, curt and minimalist. We were not warned that the restaurant was not available and she didn’t volunteer the info until asked . Some training required.

Ideal no-frills base in the Cotswolds

A couple of minute outside Moreton on Marsh & really easy to get to. Security was excellent! Loads of parking. A comfortable and clean en-suite room. Everything we needed for a night away.

Served a purpose

Close to where I needed to be. Comfy bed

Sounds proofing between rooms could be better. Reception staff could be more helpful. Was handed a plastic pouch containing a lanyard with a plastic room key card type card, a blue fob and a red fob attached. I wasn’t given instructions on what to do. Walked the long distance to find the room. Tried using the card to open the room but it wouldn’t work so walked all the way back to reception to be told that the key is the blue fob. On checking out I went to reception just as staff were closing up - just after 7pm. The staff member acknowledged my arrival by saying “are you after reception is there a problem”. I explained I was checking out and held up the plastic pouch. The staff member took it from me and took it inside the reception without saying anything else. Overall I felt like a residential college student rather than a full paying guest but to be honest with the kind of facility this is I didn’t expect much more

Comfortable

I liked the fact there was security on the gate so I could arrive late and collect my keys. A nice location which was peaceful, felt safe and near the town which has restaurants and places to have breakfast.
