The apartment was very clean and the bed very comfortable! The Lady who checked us in was lovely and helpful.

Heating did not work. The bedroom and living room were especially cold due to poor insulation from the windows. Thermastats showed red light meaning they were on though the apartment remained cold our entire stay.

We loved it.

We loved the location. We had a small problem with the WIFI but it was soon sorted out.

The shower was a bit difficult to get in and out of. It could do with a slip map and something to hold to climb out.

Perfect flat to explore the Cotswolds especially Blenheim Palace.

Location, parking was good. It was super clean. Perfect for our weekend stay. The bed was comfy. Just around the corner is a great cafe for breakfast. The flat was a brilliant base for us for the purpose of our visit and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Fleece Inn in Witney for food and drinks on Saturday evening, book ahead online as it was busy.

Just needs a couple of hooks to hang towels up in the bathroom, maybe also a bathroom cabinet. Oh, maybe a couple of fizz glasses in the kitchen cabinet! Overall a pleasant stay.

I’m giving 1 because I can’t give 0!

No instructions provided beforehand on how to check in or check out. The place was not clean at all — I’m not sure when it was last vacuumed. Simply disgusting!

Room for improvement

Apartment was very close to town & a stones throw from waitrose... parking was very good.

There were several flights of stairs.. not too bad as there weren't many steps on each flight. Bed was a bit small ..we are used to a king.. no dressing table or mirror in bedroom. Very bight due to no blackout curtains. Toilet seat misaligned, needs securing & adjusting.. very wonky. Tiles a bit grubby.. need re grouting....cracked sink as descibed by other guests. There is building work going on too.. they start around 7am.. this is obviously out of the control of the apartment owner.. Finally worst of all for us was the absolutely nauseating smell in the corridor leading to the apartment ..it smelled sweaty & stale ..it permeated the apartment too... we bought a heavy duty air fresher to spray.. & held our breath until we reached the stairwell everytime we went in or out.. . could be due to a lack of fresh air getting into the corridor... I recommend plug in air freshers in the apartment to help therein ...whilst it was in no way as bad as the corridor it did smell pretty unsavoury.

Well-appointed apartment in a convenient, yet quiet, central location in Witney town centre, close to all amenities.

No problems, but guests should take account that the apartment can only be accessed up several flights of steps.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

The living area and kitchen were lovely but although the bathroom was very clean it really needs a refurbishment to bring it up to the same standard - yellow painted walls do not match the other areas of the property. Hairline crack in sink. Area beneath wash basin needs attention. Signs of black mould appearing. It's such a lovely apartment and hard to criticise but the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade.

Tastefully decorated flat, compact but had everything that one needs

The location was great for us. Close to food shops, clothes and nick nack shops, car park, easy to get out of the area as close to a main road.

The flat was generally clean and tidy, but the cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better.

well appointed and comfortable. Smooth check-in, ample parking, walk to shops and dining.

Only shortcoming was lack of space/somewhere to put suitcases as bedroom size did not really cater for this.

Superb

We've stayed before. The accommodation is really well located. Walking distance to witney. Driving distance to all cotswold attractions, blenheim etc. Really nice decor. Comfy bed and bedlinen. Everything you need for a short stay self catering . Helpful host provided flexi checkin/out where possible.

Bathroom, very tatty and un cared for, see my phhotos, NOT as on website ! Toilet seat needs replacing, disclosed/stained on inner rim of seat, STILL Crack in sink as previous reviews state 2 years ago ! Extractor Fan does no work as other review states, not repaired two years on ! Lounge: SOFA very uncomfortable as previous reviews state, hard seat/small. BED too Soft. WASHING MACHINE broke down, we were 7 days without it and had to carry our laundry to our brother's flat to use his washing machine which was very inconvenient, the owner said that she had not received 4 emails we had sent to her about the Washing machine, however, after checking our spelling it was correct as in the information pack in the apartment. She felt it was the Network, but the Housekeeper was aware of it after 4 days, as she left us a note asking us to contact the owner when she left us some un stained mugs. As a previous review states, it was difficult lugging two suitcases up what is 5 flights of stairs as no lift, if you are elderly or have Angina. ENLARGE my photos to see the bathroom not as on website ! I recommend Meadow View bungalow in Witney by Short Let Stays in Oxfordshire. No response from owner after complaining via Booking.com about issues raised

Very good and all we needed

The key code number had changed. But, the host was quick to answer the phone and we were ok then.

It was a little chilly. There was no heating and then we found a portable radiator which warmed us up.

Excellent location right in the centre of town on a quiet street. Well equipped flat. Convenient for local buses, shops, parking, etc.
