The unit was very neat and well appointed. Once we mastered the wifi signal, we had good communication. The bed was very comfortable and the fan kept us relatively cool.

Because we are in our early eighties, we should have requested a downstairs unit. We tried opera ting the washing machine, but could not understand the detailed instructions..

Good location for what we needed, nice set up once you get up all the stairs. Good big hall way. Nice to have open kitchen living room and few biscuits provided which was nice. Shower although basic and just taps was surprisingly high pressure and good. Tv in the bedroom would have been nice or a sofa and foot-stall to be able to relax comfortably on in living room.

Sofa wasn’t the same as photo-much more uncomfortable. Curtains in bedroom were paper thin and stopped no sun. Flat was so hot but to be expected in a flat and basic fan provided.

Central location close to family and friends

Toilet has an underpowered flush that needs a plumber to look at - might be linked to broken plastic surrounding flush button ?

Apartment was very close to town & a stones throw from waitrose... parking was very good.

There were several flights of stairs.. not too bad as there weren't many steps on each flight. Bed was a bit small ..we are used to a king.. no dressing table or mirror in bedroom. Very bight due to no blackout curtains. Toilet seat misaligned, needs securing & adjusting.. very wonky. Tiles a bit grubby.. need re grouting....cracked sink as descibed by other guests. There is building work going on too.. they start around 7am.. this is obviously out of the control of the apartment owner.. Finally worst of all for us was the absolutely nauseating smell in the corridor leading to the apartment ..it smelled sweaty & stale ..it permeated the apartment too... we bought a heavy duty air fresher to spray.. & held our breath until we reached the stairwell everytime we went in or out.. . could be due to a lack of fresh air getting into the corridor... I recommend plug in air freshers in the apartment to help therein ...whilst it was in no way as bad as the corridor it did smell pretty unsavoury.
