1 Bed House at Velvet Serviced Accommodation Swansea with Free Parking & WiFi - SA1

A fairly New build in its own quiet courtyard style area. With a small back area, for the dogs.

No Issues to report.

The location is very good, being convenient for Swansea centre / beach etc. The allocated car parking was a huge attraction for us and a big benefit. The bed was somewhat soft, but actually very comfortable. The bedding / towels were all of a good standard. The kitchen had a great set of equipment, from the oven to the microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, etc. Several coffee / sugar etc sachets were provided, which was a lovely touch. Having the bedroom completely separate and upstairs meant for a really good room / property layout.

The rooms had privacy blinds, but there were no curtains. This meant the that the room was incredibly light as soon as the sun started to rise. Additionally one of the neighbours had an outside light which was intermittently illuminating the entire night. This felt like car headlights being shone into the room for a few minutes, before extinguishing. Then repeat - this was far from ideal. The lower front window had been shattered. Whilst still in place and I would consider safe, it will require replacing at some point. This was no issue from our perspective and in fact initially I thought it was frosted glass, but somewhat of an eyesore when compared to the other mew’s properties. On initial arrival (around 3:30pm) all of the allocated car parking was full. Fortunately someone was vacating a slot almost as we arrived, hence this was not an issue from our side. More of a concern for other later arrivals.

The property has been decorated nicely however it had not been up kept

We noticed as soon as we got there the window panel on the outside had been smashed, there was a smell of cigarette and cigarette burns on the downstairs carpet. There was lots of air freshener trying to make it smell better but it didn’t. The property wasn’t well equipment missing a toaster and a random amount of plates, cup and mugs ect.
