Comfortable, safe and did the job

The priority for us with a toddler was the property being safe, secure and practical - we were so pleased our apartment ticked all of these boxes. The apartment overall was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were great - I appreciated the check in via WhatsApp and also spoke to a very helpful lady on the phone when I needed assistance (thank you!)

The parking didn’t feel great at first, but we did manage fine once we got to grips with where we needed to park.

A comfortable and convenient stay, but Wi-Fi coverage needs improvement.

The location was convenient and the property was well-equipped for a short stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, making it easy to settle in. Parking and kitchen access were also very useful.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi range. There was no signal in the bedroom or living room, and it only worked properly in the bathroom. Improving the coverage would make the stay much better.

Nice and clean with the necessary amenities provided.

Didn't provide the keys for the first night and was left stranded. Luckily we were able to find somewhere else to stay even though it was so late. Told us next morning they had lost the keys. We had asked for a refund for this night, however still no conclusion and put on hold.

My stay

Everything was all tidy and set up, decent amount of space to move around, cleaning equipment and toilet roll was available immediately which was handy

Surfaces were sticky, the mirror had a chip in it, and walls had stains and marks in them. Heating was automatically on with no clear way to turn it off, so it was incredibly hot during the stay making it uncomfortable to sleep

Good stay

The studio was nice and clean. Good value for money. And the location was not bad. You have the Morfa shopping park at a walking distance and the transport to the city is available all the time and stop's very near.

The staff was slow to respond and a lot of times ignored our requests. The pans were a catastrophic state all scratched and rusty. The fridge had a problem, it was melting then freezing by itself.

Parking was very dirty with lots of litter about - food packaging and rubbish etc. The headboards of the single beds were not actually attached to the bed and just leaning against the wall? Double bed mattress was very uncomfortable and needs replacing.

Size of studio was good

Location was awful. Trains all day, smell was dreadful smelt like sewers. Bed was like lying on a board,mattress was non existence and rolled in the middle . We booked for 2 nights and only stayed for 1. Location was a nightmare,parking was useless. Perfect for work men but definitely not for relaxing ..

The room was very nice. No staff on the premises but spoke to staff on the phone who were very nice and helpful. Parking situation was not ideal, but the room we stayed in was very clean and very big. Perfect for what we needed.

Rough Diamond in a perfect location for an away day

The location of this property was ideal for an away day at the football then a night out in Swansea but also for a chilled time in the room. The check in was a doddle and although It might not look amazing from outside or in the corridors once in your apartment it really is a lovely Spacious room with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable weekend. We throughly recommend it

Fire alarm panel going off every 5 seconds (we counted) for the entirety of our stay, this was reported on the first night but not dealt with and did become annoying at times but certainly not enough to put us off going again.

We had a fabulous time and would love to visit again sometime in the future

The Copper House is centrally located. Just a 5-7min walk to the famous Swansea stadium and the shopping centre as well. An evening stroll overlooking the beautiful Tawe river to Morrissons was almost an everyday routine. The neighbourhood is quite safe and the bus stop is barely a 4 min walk from the apartment. So connectivity is never an issue. The apartment by itself is lovely. More than sufficient for two people to have a comfortable stay. They do provide basic cutlery to help you whip up a quick meal. Laundry washer and drier are available on the 1st floor. The detergent pods do run out real quick but you can always request the staff for a refill and they would be more than happy to oblige. The initial apprehensions about it being too noisy (the railway track runs pretty close) didn’t prove to be an issue at all. We did hear an occasional rumble but did not have to even use the ear plugs that they provide the guests with. The staff at Copper house were always just a whatsapp text away and were so very courteous. In fact we forgot our earphones in the room and they were so very kind to help us trace them and get it back.

A small wardrobe would make the apartment more complete and would help guests store their belongings as well.

Swansea Stadium was reachable within 10 minutes by foot, bus and stores were also reachable within 5 minutes by foot. The apartment Hand Everything it needed for daily life :)

It had all the facilities to make it a perfect home. The kitchen was very good with facilities like a microwave and oven. I liked that there was no need to buy anything or order food from outside. I was able to prepare my own food which was the best thing. The bathrooms were clean and the bed was comfy.

When I entered the facility, there was a very bad smell like the rotting of some things. I thought it might be internal, but later it used to become strong when I used to close my room. It was very strong and obvious whenever I was entering the room. I had asked staff for support but due to a deficiency of staff, someone was advised to come two days later. It was nearly impossible to stay there as the smell was pungent. I don't know from where it was coming. So I had to leave the property before my three days 4 days earlier than my checkout date. But I appreciate the staff that were at least answering my phone even during weekends.

Comfortable room but needs work..

Nice room with all amenities such as kitchen and bathroom.

Cobwebs near the lighting. Not enough loo roll, I was told to go and buy some from a shop. Parking was on a very steep hill, caused my car front bumper to crack from coming down the service ramp. Was told on initial booking there would be sufficient parking, however I don't think a service ramp next to garbage bins is sufficient parking.

Bedsheets couldn’t be changed even after agreeing to pay a charge. Was told after paying for the room there would be a payment in case of damages and that made getting checked in very difficult

Bed linen and towels not changed during 2 week stay. Disgraceful. Bill included linen service and cleaning. Had to buy own toilet paper. 🚻 Stairs dangerous and difficult. Narrow and steep. Parcels received by cleaners not distributed.
