In general cozy and pleasant.

Very well equipped, with a variety of little breakfast stuff, clean, good bed, near the entrance of old city. A free parking spot next to the house.

Dirty yard, very small TV wrongly placed, and a very steep uphill road to get to the city. It also is a bit dark.

Picture perfect and quiet place for a nice getaway!

It was the PERFECT stay, about 15 minutes from Teatro Del Silenzio where Andrea Bocelli was playing, and had a great kitchen to cook all my meals, comfortable bed, close to a supermarket and attractions for Volterra, and a very attentive and quick responding host! I was looking for quiet since the last couple places I stayed were loud cities with rude people, and it was EXACTLY what I was hoping for - it was a relaxing stay in an authentic Italian home situated on the top of a mountain overlooking valleys and just so scenic (great patio to enjoy morning, afternoon, and evening espresso!)! I would DEFINITELY recommend this to solo travelers as well as couples, and will stay there again if I make it back to see Andrea in the next 1-2 years as I hope!

Honestly, not much I didn't like though it would've been nice to have had a streaming service to watch some TV on those quiet nights in! Ended up finding a channel with some syndicated US shows and was able to convert back to the original audio so that enough!

Very disappointed and left early.

Only a few things.

Judging from the photos, this looked like an attractive, appealing place to stay. But on arrival I found it much different than expected. It basically looked and felt like a poorly furnished and decorated small apartment rather than a guest house. Clearly I was going too fast in my planning. I had thought there might have been a nearby place to have breakfast, but eating/coffee shops places were about a 15 minutes walk away along some very busy roads and up the steep hill to the center of town. While this might be an appealing place for a longer stay for couples, those with children would do better elsewhere. I left 2 days earlier than I had reserved and have not had any communication from Francesca.

Best value stay in Volterra

This is a lovely little house just outside the Walls of Volterra. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and tranquil yet within a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Incredible value too!

A lovely house and garden with a thoughtful host

La Casa in Giardino was the most thoughtfully equipped and appointed apartment we stayed at during our 3 month trip to Italy. Francesca thought of everything for her guests’ comfort including a fully equipped kitchen with spotless pots and pans, utensils, plates and cups, and appliances; plenty of towels and dish towels; toiletries; a laundry hamper; bedside rugs for cool mornings with the tile floor; and so many other thoughtful touches. The house was immaculately clean and quite spacious. The outdoor garden and patio are a lovely place to relax or have a meal, with beautiful flowers and greenery, and even turtles for company! Parking is convenient, free, and very close to the house. We loved returning to this little oasis after our days touring Tuscany and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nice place to stay while visiting Volterra.

The location was excellent, just a short walk into the old city but outside enough to be quiet. The kitchen appeared very well equipped but we didn’t get to test it because we arrived on bicycles in a rainstorm on a Sunday evening and had no chance to get groceries. The host provided us each an umbrella to take on our walk through the town.

The icing on the cake of a visit to a beautiful and interesting part of Tuscany.

The space was a perfect size for a couple. Parking near by very convenient, The cleanliness and attention to detail i.e. basics for personal hygiene and cooking condiments were great. The location is a short 5 min walk from centre of Volterra. The host was very attentive and communication was 100% I an definitely recommend this place without any hesitation.

The shower was nice and powerful but tends to fluctuate the heat. OK for adult once you get used to it but be careful with a child. A microwave and toaster would have been great.

Tutto! Eravamo già stati in precedenza ospiti della struttura. Oltre alla perfetta pulizia degli spazi, ci colpisce sempre positivamente l’organizzazione della permanenza. Consigli e video per arrivare e parcheggiare, oltre a tutte le informazioni necessarie per accendere termosifoni, condizionatore, televisione, macchina del caffè; inoltre, soluzione dotata di piccole/grandi accortezze quali bilancia per alimenti, ecc. Per finire, dolcetti e bottiglia di Chianti di benvenuto! Davvero una ottima gestione!

Die freundliche Kommunikation mit den Vermietern via Handy (ansonsten komplett kontaktloses Ein- und Auschecken), das gemütliche Ambiente, die Ausstattung, die Lage. Die Möglichkeit zur Mülltrennung

Leider konnten wir auf Grund der enormen Mückenplage die gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeit im Freien GAR NICHT nutzen.

Das Häusschen ist wirklich sehr schön ausgestattet. Im Garten kann man prima sitzen und die Ruhe genießen. Alles ist liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns super Wohlgefühlt.

Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires, les clés se trouvant dans une boite à clé. C'est impossible de ne pas trouver le logement et les parkings gratuits à proximité grâce aux instructions très très détaillées avec vidéos fournies au préalable par WhatsApp Petit logement avec cuisine sympa à 7' à pied du centre historique. Matelas assez souple mais nous avons bien dormi. Sachets de thé, tisanes, petits gâteaux : sympa avec le temps frais que nous avons eu à Volterra début mai

Rien à part : pas de volets et pas de rideaux occultant à une des fenêtres. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé car nous repartions tôt.

Exceptionnel

Exceptionnel avec très joli petit jardin. La petite maison est suffisamment spacieuse, décorée avec goût et rien ne manque : ustensiles de cuisine, café, thés, huile d’olive… Très calme et à deux pas du centre ville. Enfin, les instructions pour accéder à la maison avec photos et vidéos explicatives sont très claires.

Gerieflijke accomodatie met fijne zitplek in privetuin

Rustige omgeving, plek voor het parkeren van de auto. De prive tuin met zitje. Het heerlijk zachte bed. Heel verrassende accomodatie. Balkenplafond en mooie verdeling van de verschillende ruimtes.

De ruimt is vrij donker. Dit waarschijnlijk door het donkere plafond en de kleine raampartijen. De lamp gaat hier wat eerder aan. Is verder geen groot probleem.

Si je reviens à Volterra, c'est là que j'aimerai revenir.

Très bien positionné, nous avons pu visiter Volterra à pieds. L'appartement est super bien équipé, dans un petit jardin . Vaisselle, dosettes de cafés, rien ne manquait!

Je reconnais avoir eu peur de laisser ma voiture sur une place en pente! en même temps à Volterra, c'est quasi obligé ou alors vous êtes tout en bas! mais en fait; tout s'est bien passé!

Casa stupenda, piccola ma super accogliente, piena di Confort e pulitissima. Cucina ottimale, anch'essa piena di tutti i confort Un bello spazio esterno, d'estate sicuramente diventa ancora più bello e utile. E infine la padrona è super disponibile.

Purtroppo l'acqua veniva un po' fredda e un po' calda, è stato impossibile lavarsi. Ho avvisato la padrona e sicuramente rimedierà!
