Die Lage in der Altstadt ist sehr zentral. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber genügte unseren Bedürfnissen vollauf. Das gilt auch für WC/DU. Trotz keiner Rezeption im Haus war der Zugang einfach: Die Vermieterin erschien nach unserem Telefonanruf umgehend vor dem Hauszugang. Die Atmosphäre war sehr familiär, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Ein bescheidenes Frühstücksbuffet ist vorhanden und im Preis inbegriffen.
Leider gingen die Fenster unseres Zimmers im 1. Stock direkt auf die Gasse, wo schon frühmorgens die Strassenreinigung und die Autos ziemlich Lärm verursachten.

La casa torre è centrale, ottima per chi vuole visitare Volterra; facilmente raggiungibile dal parcheggio più vicino (parcheggio, come tutti, purtroppo caro, 2€/h)
