Fine for a short stay, but outside and below Volterra centro.

Bike & Bed Hotel appears to be a repurposed college in the non-school year. As it was (vertically) a significant distance from Volterra centro, I (and most other cyclists/guests) appreciated that they offered a full dinner and breakfast at the 'hotel'. They also accommodated our cycling need by offering a bike wash stand, repair tools and lube. Very considerate of them.

The rooms (at least mine) are dormitory style rooms. I didn't need anything more as I was only eating and sleeping there, but for anyone staying a few nights they might find the location a challenge without an auto. There is limited autobus service between the college and centro.

The Staff in the secretary didn't have much idea of the check-in protocol and place facilities, such as rent a bike or transport indications

Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal på ett bekvämt och avslappnat boende.

Personalen var fantastiska. Dom ville verkligen göra vår vistelse till den bästa. Dom hittade lösningar och möjligheter och var oerhört hjälpsamma. Mycket rent överallt. Rummet var litet men fräscht och sängarna var bekväma. Frukosten var bra. Det fanns bl a yoghurt, flingor, ägg, skinka, och ost. Även frukt och juice. Skönt med en simtur i bassängen.

Posizione ideale per vedere Volterra. Ottima colazione, staff davvero ospitale e gentile!

Ottima posizione a 4 km circa dal centro, da raggiungere in auto e non a piedi! Colazione abbondante e ricca, struttura immersa nel verde in stile campus.

Letti un pò scomodi ma per il resto bene per un breve soggiorno di vacanza!
