Lovely b&b in the heart of historic birgu. Much quieter and less touristy than Valletta but easy to get back and forth via ferry or gondola boats. We enjoyed our room, which was a large and comfortable, and appreciated the air conditioning. Breakfast was convenient in the morning, but recommend getting there early as only a small amount of food is prepared and is not refreshed after it’s taken by other guests. Very cool historic building. Overall would recommend.
The only downside of this stay was communication with the owner/host. I messaged the owner in advance with questions and did not get a response. We received no check in instructions - only got lucky to run into the owner outside the property when we arrived - and no check out instructions.

Traditional and beautifully restored property with much attention given to the importance of the area’s history.
Some noise transfer from other rooms due to the nature of the courtyard design and the adjoining doors to other rooms.breakfast was good but not allergen friendly and if busy limited options.look for a room with a bath if you can.

breakfast fine. toast, yogurt, sides etc good. great location, comfortable bed. Shower and bathroom good and hot water good.. lovely quiet location. room attractive with enough powerpoints. AC efficient
no comfortable chair to relax in in bedroom. would have liked a pair of slippers, floor very cold. also would have like a stool in the bathroom. i found it a challenge to carry bags to second floor. cooked breakfast cold and over cooked.
never found the honesty bar, only soft drinks available
