Blue House 9 Rooms & Breakfast

Entorno mágico, casa preciosa y anfitriones insuperables. Blue House 9 es el lugar perfecto para quedarse en Malta. El hotel es un palazzino histórico precioso, restaurado con muchísimo gusto, impecable y ubicado en el mágico entorno medieval de Birgu, una localización ideal para recorrer y disfrutar de las Tres Ciudades. Los desayunos son deliciosos y te dan energías para todo el día.La hospitalidad de Sergio y Ruth es excepcional y los chicos del personal completan un equipo de diez, siempre atentos y con una sonrisa. Se adaptaron por completo a nosotros y tuvieron la gran amabilidad de permitirnos salir más tarde de la habitación porque nuestro vuelo era tarde. Un trato humano inmejorable en una casa con auténtica alma. ¡Para repetir una y mil veces!

Positives: clean, nice renovation, responsive owner.

Paid extra for a balcony. Unfortunately it was about 2 metres away from balcony opposite on a narrow street....therefore pretty much no direct sunlight and a bit of a waste of time.See photo. The room had minimal natural light. The stay was very disappointing on the whole given the price (almost twice what I paid for other rooms on a tour of Malta Gozo.) All in all it was a pretty soulless stay in that I saw no other guests in 3 days and only one member of staff. Said member of staff was responsible for breakfast, sometimes he was there, sometimes not. I waited 15 minutes for him to appear on day 2 as I wanted to ask for scrambled eggs; I looked in the kitchen, rang the reception bell, no sign of life. On day 3 no one was there either. When he was there he looked like he wished he wasn't. As I say, given the price tag I expected much better of the place.
