I loved that the property was a good one hour walk into town, as walking is my passion. I should add that I chose it based on location for this purpose and was very lucky with the weather. There is ample parking for guests that use their cars. I really liked the old style interior decoration and warm atmosphere of the guest house, particularly the breakfast room. Very clean.
Shower head was difficult to get mix of hot and cold right- a very common issue in most places, but since it was in a bath I just bathed instead. Which was nice for a change.

We stayed in the self catering cottage which was delightful. It had all of the mod cons a kitchen needs and Jacqui had left us a few food items so that we could make a snack and have tea or coffee on arrival. The wifi was brilliant and everything just worked as expected.
While the main bedroom was huge with space to spread out and really well decorated with convenient side tables and lamps by the bed, we found the actual mattress which was memory foam sunk underneath us, which meant we woke up in a hole which my back hated! I tried turning it but that didn't help.

quiet with lovely views of countryside. central for north coast and Belfast city, and only 30 mins from airport
muck spreading in the surrounding fields left us in no doubt we were in the countryside! just bad timing and not an issue as grew up next to a farm 😀.
