Stayed for a wedding, but disappointed in the quality of the room for such a high price.

The breakfast was good. Well cooked and grease free.

The room had a terrible smell coming from bathroom. Reported to receptionist but couldn’t relocate us so sent someone to put disinfectant down the drains.

Beautiful hotel

Lovely, well decorated hotel with lots of seating available in the lobby. The hotel is bigger than I expected. Staff were very helpful. Modern bedroom with mirrored furniture. Very cosy bed, I had an excellent night’s sleep. Bonus points for the fan in the room, much needed during the recent heatwave! The shower was fantastic, large with good pressure. Breakfast was delicious - choose a cooked breakfast from a menu, then buffet continental. Doughnuts for breakfast!

No electrical sockets by the bed. The room price is higher than I would usually go for, but I was there for a wedding so it was a treat.

Having No Elevator and No Concierge Services to assist with luggage. I had to personally help some guests with their luggage.

Overpowering smell of air freshener. No bottled water in room. Poor tea/coffe facilities in room for a boutique hotel at this price. Same price menu if eating in restuarant or Bar.

Nice get away. Good food. But hotel busy with wedding guests & kids running around.

The room was quiet. Plenty of parking. The bar is nice, but was very busy when we were there, as there was a wedding on. The restaurant is nice. The staff were excellent, so friendly and attentive. Food was very good.

The room was ok, a bit small. It was tired in places, e.g marks on wall & bath panel coming off. The toiletries were strange, we had 2 conditioners & 2 body lotions, but no shampoo or shower gel? Also we had only 1 broken coat hanger, so asked reception for more. Next time I walked past the reception, they handed me 2? In the evening the check in staff were not very pleasant when there was a mix up with our booking & the meal plan, made me feel embarrassed. But Geraldine in the restaurant sorted it promptly & pleasantly.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, beds comfy and food lovely. Great for a work trip. Weddings on both nights but staff did their best to make sure this didn’t impact on my stay.

The staff were excellent, the customer service we received was second to none. We arrived on valentines night and they only had a set menu on offer, but we had a young baby so this really wasn't suitable, we planned to get a takeaway and return to our room with it. Once we were checked in, the receptionist came to our door with a different menu for us and said they'd serve it to us from the bar as an exception - this absolutely made our stay, and made us feel so catered for. They also had a children's menu. The quality of all the food we had during our stay there was excellent. We would definitely come back to this hotel!

Our room was quite small given we were travelling with our baby. However, the decor and cleanliness etc were all fabulous. I could not fault a single other thing.
