What a great place. Great little local area but with some fun attractions, good restaurants and 5-10 minute walk to the river. Actually like it was a little away from main tourist area but only a quick simple metro trip (fantastic metro in a Lisbon). Having Elaine’s as your host is a rare treat. Unobtrusive but also checks in to see if you need anything. She goes above and beyond with what she provides in terms of drinks, food etc. Had enough to put together a quick pasta meal from what she provided after a long day walking. In short, best Bookings.com experience we have had.

It was close to different attractions in a quaint neighborhood.

It was cosy, clean, well located and close to the city centre (only €6 in a taxi - cheaper than public transport for 3 people). We also used Lime scooters to transport us down to the river and marina with so much to see and a fun way to travel. We really felt part of the local community with friendly neighbours.

The streets around are cobbled so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The host left some food provisions including a bowl of fruit which meant I effectively had breakfast. There was also bottle of wine and snacks which was a lovely treat. The kitchen was properly equipped which made it like home. The accommodation it beautiful designed with good quality materials. The decoration and detailing is very thoughtful. The host was very communicative and friendly.
