We loved the fact that you need no keys to enter. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location is fantastic, close to supermarkets and bus stops. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to stay when in Lisbon. Many thanks :)

The view from the outside balcony and the layout of the apartment, the interior colours and the neetness and a very comfy double clean bed

The way to get into the apartment, you need 3 coded doors and a little basket lift

The room was what I expected from the pictures I had seen in Booking.com, clean, tidy and well enough equipped, it fulfilled my expectations. The bed was very comfortable, I had three very good nights sleep. The transport available is good, there is a bus stop within 100m, also, on your way back to the room, if you don't feel like waiting for the bus to get back up the hill, there is a taxi rank close to the Belém railway station, and just across the road from the bus and tram stops, the taxi fee is around 4 Euros. by the way. A walk form the room to the Pastéis de Belém is 1Km downhill and very doable, even for an old couch potato like me.

The third Floor... for someone like me who is overweight and close to turning 74, it was a climb, but I did manage it. Being in the hotel business myself, I found that the owner could invest in small hanging cupboard to hang clothing, instead of a rail and soft shelves. But this is not a deal breaker, just something to think about. He could even use up the bay-window space to fit a hanging cupboard together with a desk with drawers and one chair, this would solve the only two problems, hanging space and drawers, and it would make the room so much more comfortable for those who needs to work on their computer sitting down at a table, or even to sit down for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. In other words, the bay-window space can be optimised, and it will make for a much better experience, and it only needs to block the width of the huge window by about 500mm, the table and drawers will be bellow the window sill.

The price was good.

Walls very thin, the guy next doors was snoring all night we could hear everything. The walls had mold and you could smell it and see it.
