Geronimo Guest House Belém

Fantastic location. The host greeted us upon arrival as if we were good friends. The room was perfect for our family and young daughter. The common areas and courtyard are well maintained and provided everything we could need for our short stay. We will definitely be coming back again!

Excellent and helpful hosts and prime location, so close to the historical sites and good transport links into the centre. Was well looked after during my stay.

The house is beautiful and renovated to a high standard in a quiet area. Ricardo was very helpful when we had a problem finding the house. It was a very relaxing stay and chatting to Jorge about his garden was a pleasure.

Bright and airy, but can close blinds electronically to block out the light. Big, comfortable bed. Plenty of towels and pillows. Excellent and quick hot water. Very modern bathroom.

The person who greeted us was not friendly and we could hear him talking on the ground floor even from our room upstairs. When the internet went out, it took him 4 hours before responding and getting it back on. (He said he didn't take his phone with him.) A dog next door barks loudly, including after 10pm. Lot of noise from closing of doors. Schoolyard is two doors down so you hear the kids there playing, but it's not too bad. The nightstands on either side of the bed were small even though there was plenty of room for bigger ones.
