Belém Apartment

The property was neat and cleans host was responsive. We also got early check in option .

There is no lift and space and living area is bit too cramped.

Es un apartamento muy cerca del río tajo. Cerca del monasterio de los jerónimos y da para ir y venir por esa zona a pie sin ningún problema. Marta se mostró muy amable desde el primer contacto y hasta el último. El departamento muy bonito, cómodo, limpio y no le hizo falta nada, tenía todo lo necesario para cocinar. Sintra está muy cerca, el centro no está lejos y estacionar el auto no es tan complicado.

El edificio es viejo y se nota, pero no es algo que demerite la estancia.

Nice clean apartment - but not quite in Belem - above it up the hill. Nice local neighbourhood which is quiet at night and far less busy than central Lisbon. Funky hipster coffee bar nearby or more trad options too. Old tram nearby which is fun. Bedrooms are a good size. Good for short stay. Not very much to do in the area but is close by down the hill to Belem and waterfront. 15/20 min walk. Buses go very nearby and trams.

Surprised that we were asked to empty the dehumidifier which leaked at times. One bed soft the other pretty hard. Best view is from bathroom window, kitchen window is tiny weeny and tiny stools so good for gnomes or childen. TV area very dark and sofa too close to watch anything comfortably, TV all in Spanish so good if you want some language practice!

the location is good and they have sufficient facilities like heater dish washer and washing machine. the host replies fast.

They don’t have enough supplies for us staying for 6 nights. They only provide 3 rolls of toilet papers which is also in extremely bad quality (you’ll have to use loads of plies) and it’s not enough for three of us (girls) to get by for a whole week. we ended up buying toilet papers, washing liquid and pods by ourselves. I did send messages to the host asking if we can get more toilet papers and towels but he saw my messages and chose not to reply. I mean you could just told me instead of ignoring my msg. not enough basic cooking stuff like oil for an Airbnb-ish apartment. the shower is terrible. the water pressure is not enough and it’s very difficult to the shower, always felt cold after shower.., and it seems like hot water can run out very quickly as well.
