Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant is good, very tasty food. It has a hostel vibe but for the price, it's great. Better to have a car... not central. Very spacious showers. The view from the terrace is fantastic!

Very good

this is the second time I stayed at San Bernardo. as my budget was limited this time, I booked a room in the appendix house. This room is very basic with shower and toilet on the floor and can’t be compared to the room quality in the old building. My room also had a lot of moscitos unfortunately. However, the restaurant is very good with its beautiful terrace. To enjoy this location, I highly recommend a room in the old building.

Pleasant. I would go again.

Breakfast was amazing. Great Salami and Breads (multiple breada in 1 Basket). Great Cofffee and Orange Juice. Many Jams to choose from (Confis).

Bigger T.V. More Channels and a few Channels with German or English. It was all Italian and I could not change the Language and/or add Subtitles. This was disappointing.

Great values for money/personnel/facilities/stay, a bit far from downtown (and up the hill).

+ cleanness + value for money + breakfast + personnel + view + parking + great service

- the only disadvantage really is the distance from the center of Locarno. It takes a good 15-20 minutes by car to get there and the hotel is really high up the hill. There is a bus every hour, though.

Goede plek om te overnachten op weg richting Italië

Weinig aan te merken aan de accommodatie. Let even op waar je in de avond gaat eten want het nabijgelegen restaurant is erg duur als je dat niet verwacht. Wel heel lekker.

Die Lage war super, herrliche Aussicht. Gute Busverbindungen und Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Unterkunft

Duschen und Haare föhnen nach 22.00 Uhr sollte vermieden werden. Bitte die anderen Gäste darauf aufmerksam machen.

Hotel mit Top Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, einfach aber unkompliziert!

Unkompliziert und sehr ruhig! Aufenthalt im Sommer ein bisschen zu heiss, für den Herbst kommen wir gerne wieder!

Eigenes Restaurant war leider geschlossen! Das andere Restaurant für Familien zu teuer.

Perfect verblijf bij Casa San Bernardo

Wij verbleven 1 nacht in Casa San Bernardo. Bij aankomst lag de sleutel voor ons klaar. Wij waren de enige gasten dus het was erg rustig. Ook de omgeving is heel rustig. Vanuit de kamer hadden we een fantastisch zicht over het meer. Schuin tegenover het hotel ligt een kleine speeltuin met schommels, glijbaantje en zandbak. Ideaal voor de kinderen. De kamer en het sanitair waren proper en ruim. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd door Paula en Hanna. Zij bedienden ons met de glimlach en we hadden een fijne babbel. Ze zorgden ook dat er kinderstoelen klaar stonden. Het ontbijt was lekker en verzorgd. Wij zouden zeker terug komen.

Es war ein einfaches Zimmer, aber alles was wir gebraucht haben, mit perfektem Frühstück.

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wo inklusiv war, war fantastisch.
