Very nice rooms. Modern and clean. Enough space and a nice bathroom! The balcony is a highlight.

Everything was great, just an idea/feedback for the hosts: maybe provide one bottle of water for free and I saw other apartments where they offer free beach towels. Maybe make the apartment price a little bit higher, because your place is great!, and do less upselling with small things. But don’t get me wrong, the stay was perfect. Just a small idea, maybe it helps you.

Wonderful views from The Trone

The best thing was the location. Near Porto Timoni beach, where most tourists from all over the island drove to, so that's where we stayed. Plus, a wonderful view of Agios Georgios beach from our ground floor room. Even without a car, with good physical shape, it's possible to visit these two wonderful beaches.

However, the location was also a negative aspect. Access by car was nerve-wracking. You had to drive through an extremely narrow section of street. In the afternoon, when most people left the beach, it was difficult to drive back to the hotel, because there were so many cars on the steep and narrow roads. The soundproofing in our room was poor, but that's probably normal. The hotel restaurant was quite expensive and the kitchenette in the apartment was basic. The nearest grocery store is on Agios Georgios beach. Grocery stores are expensive. I would recommend checking out Lidl near the capital before you arrive.

It was exceptionally nice

The place offers stunning views in the morning and in the evening. Rooms were clean and the air condition was good. And it's very near to porto timoni.

They could put some perfume in the room and bathroom for the odor.

A trip on which we saw the beauty of our master Jesus Christ in Meteora and the beauty of creation.

The location was perfect as it was near Timoni Beach

The smell in the room came from the drain which was a bit unpleasant but not overwhelming. It was far to go to the supermarket att Saint George beach.

We received all the necessary conditions to feel satisfied and enjoy our stay at the island.

Excellent location on top of the village with a magnificent view of Agios Georgios beach. At walking distance through a stony path to Porto Timoni beach. The hotel is cozy, the rooms are wide enough and cleaned daily. Our host and all the staff were friendly and always helpful. I'd highly recommend the place.

The road from the village to the hotel is narrow and suitable for small-dimension cars only.

The rooms with a pool on the balcony are simply amazing. From any of the rooms the view is incredible, since the hotel is on top of a lofty ridge overlooking Agios Giorgios bay. And there are beautiful swallows flying everywhere and butterflies as well. It's paradise. But to have a private pool on a balcony overlooking the bay in addition to everything else is truly to sit on Zeus' throne. I've traveled all over Greece for the past 15 years and the high end rooms at this hotel are an amazing bargain for the money. Plus, the people who work at the hotel are wonderful. It is a family business. Marios and Kostas really took care of us. We were there for our honeymoon and my wife couldn't have been happier. Just down the ridge from the hotel is a small dirt path that will take you to Porto Timoni beach in 20 minutes by foot. An amazing beach! And Agios Giorgios beach is just down the ridge in another direction. This hotel gives you amazing views and two great beaches in walking distance. It's a real hidden gem of Corfu and the little village it's in, Afionas, has several other nice restaurants and one great one also with an amazing view at sunset. I feel like this hotel and village will continue to grow in popularity, so try it out while it's not yet over touristed and still authentic.

Spectacular view from the villa and the restaurant. Mario the restaurant manager was an incredible host going above and beyond. We loved the fish options on the menu. Our favourite place to stay in Corfu so far. Very well-located for the Porto Timoni beach, which is also our favourite beach in Corfu.

Brilliant hosts, beautiful location.

The staff were fantastic, super welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect, a phenomenal view and a beautiful nearby town. The restaurant was very relaxed and served good food.

A few things like room maintenance, leaking bathroom sink for example. Bedsheets we’re a little uncomfortable, otherwise nothing else to dislike.

The view from the terrace made is say "wow" every ten minutes

We had the studio, and the view from the terrace was simply amazing. The room was cleaned every day and was always perfect, the cleaner was very pleasant and polite whenever we met her. Outside the apartment was some recycling bins for plastic and glass, which is always a welcome site to see.

We didn't have a car and due to the Zeus Throne being on top of the hill, we had to walk to and fro to any of the beaches, which was quite punishing in the August heat.

The location is perfect

We booked 3 rooms. 1 of them did not had the electricity, no lights in the room. Also in all three rooms, few times for 15 minutes were lost with water (shower, toilet).

Мой отзыв опубликовали не полностью, после нескольких месяцев битвы с букингом - они прислали форму, в которой отзыв в принципе нельзя оставить в размере больше чем пара предложений. Ну чтож, битва проиграна.

Отель ответственнен за сокрытие информации о всей той боли, что вас ожидает при приезде. Укусы пчёл, медуз, острые камни, колючки, ожоги, сигареты, итальянцы с идиотской музыкой, испражнения и мусор, абсолютно эгоистичные, самовлюблённые, жестокие и безразличные греки и главное - ежедневная смерть при спуске и подьёме. Не приезжайте сюда.

Ein sehr angenehmes Studio in sensationeller Lage

Die Lage des Hotels hoch oben am Ortsende von Afionas ist einfach sensationell, das Studio modern und zweckmäßig, vom schönen Balkon und der Restaurant-/Frühstücksterrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf die tief unten liegende Ostküste, und nach einem kleinen Spaziergang (bitte ohne Flipflops) hat man einen ebenso tollen Blick auf die Strände von Porto Timoni. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse (in unserem Fall gegen Extrabezahlung) ist vielfältig und qualitativ sehr gut. Nachts in es total ruhig! Wenn man auf der Terrasse nicht Abendessen will: In Fußnähe vom tollen Sonnenuntergangsblick gibt es einige gute bis sehr gute (Anemos!) Restaurants. Alles in allem war Zeus Throne II die beste Unterkunft von doch insgesamt fünf in zwei Wochen Korfu!

Keine Kritik am Hotel: Die letzten 500m Zufahrt zum Throne sind ab Ortsmitte schon sehr eng und für richtig breite Autos oder ängstliche Fahrer schwierig.
