A very enjoyable stay

Very clean, comfortable, apartment in a relatively quiet location just outside the main area of Arillas. We had a good sized balcony, which overlooked the pool area. We made very good use of the lovely, well-maintained pool. Sufficient equipment in the kitchenette to be able to self-cater. Lena was friendly and very helpful with our few inquiries. A number of restaurants are within 10-15 minutes walking distance of the accommodation. Good base for visiting, for example, Afionas, Cape Drastis.

Just a suggestion - some information in the room would be helpful about, for example, bar opening times, snack menu, what to do with key on departure etc. The lighting in the kitchenette area could be brighter.

Lovely well located apartment in Arillas a very friendly area of Corfu that has not been over commercialised

Cleanliness comfort and a lovely pool. Very good facilities for preparing a meal . Great that the basic were already there like tea ,coffee and washing up liquid! The air conditioning worked well Location was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants

Exceptionally clean, quiet and complete calmness.

Exceptionally clean venue with a lovely host; the venue was great as it was slightly away from the sea-front, but and easy walk to get there. The pool was lovely - a gentle salt water pool I believe - and it was amazingly quiet, calm and relaxing around the pool. We had a lovely stay xx

A fabulous place

Basic but very well presented accommodation, 10/15 minutes flat walk to village centre. Warm friendly welcome and atmosphere, thank you Lena Pool area : lovely quiet and delicious ice cream Mosquito screens/ air con : great made huge improvement to comfort compared with previous visits

Nice smooth stay

Perfect stay there without any single issue. Host Lena was very nice and always approachable for any sort of questions. The room was clean and linens/towels were replaced regularly. Room had a balcony looking directly to the pool which was very convenient to monitor kids there and pass/take any kind of staff needed near the pool (toys, cream etc). Pool was always clean (I saw a robot cleaning it every evening). Near the pool there is a bar where you can buy beers, cocktails, ice cream, which is very convenient as well. Also place have enough spaces for car parking. Hotel's location is quite good as it is situated on a calm street with minimal noise outside especially at nights. The nearest beach in Arilla - 4 minutes by car or 15 min by foot; other good beaches also in quite good proximity (less the 1 hour drive) - Porto Timoni - ~10min; Rovinia beach ~40-45min. Highly recommend that place for Value for Money stay.

Nothing which seriously impact our vacation. Just dont expect too much from Wi-Fi speed, but this is common issue all across Greece. I had the same issue in Lefkada and in Khalkidiki.

Brilliant Late Summer Break

Relaxing and carefree location, Eating out and beautiful sunsets all within easy reach. Fabulous sandy beaches not that far away.

I would recommend having a car rental to get the best from Arillas, Corfu town and the marvellous NW and W sandy beaches ... and inland mountain towns and views etc. Pool was somewhat cold but well maintained

We had a blast!

I and my partner really enjoyed the stay at Makris Apartments. The apartment was large and clean. The fully equipped kitchen was also spacious. We had fresh towels every 4 days. The host was incredibly nice and helpful :)

Unfortunately, the accommodation was around a 10-15 minute walk away from the beach, shops, and the main promenade of Arillas. However, we borrowed bicycles from our friends and took no more than 2 minutes to the beach.

We really liked staying here. What is extraordinary is the quiet area and equipment of the apartment - it has everything you could think of. The pool was nice, the beds were comfortable and staff is very helpful and welcomming. The location is great. It exceeded the expactations - it was much nicer as in the pictures.

Wi-Fi was not working very well - just sending messages. If you would like to search something or stream videos - its not possible. We did not minded for a holiday - had books and mobile data, but I can imagine that for someone could be annoying who needs it.

Loved our stay!

Makris Apartments in Arillas is a great place for a vacation — be it long or short term. We were there for 5 days and it was all great. The facilities in the room were great (bathroom, kitchen, storage) and outside, too (pool, sun beds, bar area). We didn't use the AC. Plenty of storage room and great little kitchenette, separate from the bedroom. Also the staff was amazing — my partner fell sick and we got to borrow their thermometer to check the fever. The view from the room and balcony was also amazing — overlooking the pool and mountains, with the sun setting right where you can see it. We loved it all! Nearby was our favourite restaurant we went to every day – Athina Taverna.

The beds we slept on were a bit too hard for me (female), but my partner didn't mind at all. So if you're someone who's used to sleeping on a very soft, pillowy bed, maybe try contacting the property first?

Clean apartment, kitchen supplies were good, good location (15 minutes walk to the beach), cleaning staff smiley and friendly. Arillas is a lovely location, not very cheap but pretty beaches and good restaurants.

The apartment was pretty and surrounding was quiet. It was close to the beach - 10 minutes walk and there was many good restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable. Good location to many beautiful places.

The appartement had a beautiful balcony and nice swimming pool. Also the host was very kind. The atmosphere around the apartment was very good.

We missed a reception to ask questions. We could call a number but we would have liked it to ask about transfers and about the possibilities in the city. We could not fit the mosquito net around the bed and the net had a hole in it.
