Great location, modern, newer, clean and great hostess that lives on site to answer any questions and caters to your every need. Eirini was a delight! She provided nice breakfast each morning that varied each day.

Lack of toiletries, no tissues, paper towels or napkins which was odd. Always needed for little cleanups. Shower is open to rest of bathroom without a door so water sprays everywhere and floor is wet and has to be dried up after showering. Parking was ample however the drive out of the complex up the extremely steep hill with intersection at top was a bit unnerving in a manual car but we had luck most times without encountering another car when leaving. Once when returning and other car backed down hill a little and had issues getting started back up. Not Magdachris issue, just making others aware.

Fantastic accommodation. Loved everything about it.

Lovely clean, modern property. The owner Eirini was lovely and left us the most amazing breakfast of pastries, eggs, bread, fresh orange, fruit, cheese , yoghurts. She even made me a fresh omelette most days as I am not keen on boiled eggs. We’ve only been home one day and have booked again for next year.

We were booked for one week but after 2 days, we left and lost our money! It wasn't worth staying!

The manager, Irini, was very nice and pleasant. The room was modern. The environment with the water and mountains is beautiful.

It's much smaller than it was portrayed. There was no chair for sitting; no tissues or paper towels; the soap in the bathroom for handwashing and showering were tiny. The shower is pretty much open so water gets everywhere. There is no space for toiletries. The beach water was ice cold, colder than ocean water in Maine, U.S.! We couldn't get past our knees. We came here to swim but we couldn't at all. It was also advertised as "golden sand" but in reality, it was pebbles and when you stepped onto it, your feet would sink. Very hard to walk on. Also, all the buildings are jammed together so there's no place to walk. In addition, the roads to get there from the port were treacherous, at best! We've been to many islands and we've never experienced such sharp, blind corners. There were places where only one car could fit yet it was a two car road! This made it very stressful and not possible to drive to other beaches.

The breakfast was exceptional and varied each day. Eirini was very helpful in everything we asked. Location was brilliant.views stunning.

Maybe a bannister on the steps up from the ground floor for older guests. Fab location if you are happy swimming in the sea which is wonderful.

A pleasant & surprising experience!

Comfortable room and clean. Very nice view from the balcony. Irini, the host, was constantly looking to provide us with a great vacation. She helped us to change the initial room we've got on the ground floor with a much comfortable room on the first floor. Breakfast was amazing with a great variety of food and a beautiful view of the see. Also the free sunbeds available in the yard for the guests to use on the beach is a big plus. Not to mention the proximity to a very nice beach and free parking lot. All in one it was a pleasant staying which we would like to repeat in the future!

Initial room from the ground floor (lateral view of the see) was not so great if you would like to spend some time in the balcony as all the guests were passing right in front of you. Also the room was rather small for a three persons family, adding the supplementary bed for our kid left little space in the room. The road just before reaching Magdachris Beachfront Rooms could be problematic as it is quite steep while two cars can hardly pass one next to the other. Parking lot is rather small (5 maximum 6 cars), it would be hard to park your car if no more parking space is available - yet we did not experience this situation, we always found a free parking lot.

Very quiet location near the beach

Very nice location near the beach. Very good breakfast.

The wardrobe in the room was damaged with broken drawers and smell of mold. The wardrobe was clean but the smell was there and sometime it could be noticed in the room. My recomandation is to change it. This problem affects the whole room which had no other fault. In 5 days of stay only one time was room cleaned in the 3rd day.

We have stayed 4 days at this place in double room with sea view in October. Weather has not spoiled us, but host’s delicious breakfasts did. Little outdated, but very clean rooms. Very covenient location with super markets, and delicious restaurants around the corner. Very good value for price paid. Will recommend.

Wonderful staff, diverse breakfast, great location right at the beach. mosquito nets in the windows allowed us to keep the windows open in the night and fall asleep to the sound of the sea :) There is a small parking just in front of the building which is convenient.

Everything! Starting from the location, best location and beach in the whole island. Then the staff and their fantastic breakfast, I don't know how will I live without their breakfast now that I am back home! Owner's willingness to help with everything. Schöne moderne und geschmackvolle Wohnung in toller Strandlage

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand und Irini war eine sehr nette Gastgeberin - die tägliche Frühstücksbox eine clevere und gute Lösung für ein individuelles, reichhaltiges Frühstück in der eigenen Wohnung. In direkter Nachbarschaft viele Mini-Markets und Restaurants - auch wandern geht direkt von der Unterkunft aus. Gerne wieder!

Der Strand ist schnell recht steil, so dass die Wellen bei schlechterem Herbstwetter sehr herausfordernd sind.

Perfekte Lage, Nette Vermieterin, Gutes Frühstück

Wir waren im Erdgeschoss und dort kam immer eine dicke weiße Katze, die leider ihr Hinterteil nicht mehr putzen kann und dann auf den Stühlen oder der Fußmatte herumliegt. Leider hinterlässt sie diese dann schmutzig. (kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür, aber vielleicht könnte man Abhilfe schaffen indem man das Geländer zum Gang einfach unten schließt damit sie nicht in diesen Bereich kommt.)

Unterkunft mit Blick aufs Meer und gemütlichen Zimmern!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen tollen Meerblick. Vor dem Haus stehen Liegen, die man auf der Rasenfläche nutzen kann. Es wird dafür ein extra Handtuch bereit gestellt. Alle zwei Tage gab es neue Handtücher und das Zimmer wurde geputzt. Küche ausreichend ausgestattet für einfaches Kochen (Salz hat allerdings gefehlt). Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine, für die es jeden Morgen ausreichend Kapseln gab, super!! Frühstück besteht aus Milch, Saft, Eiern, Scheibenkäse, Brotscheiben, Joghurt, abgepacktem Honig/Nutella/Marmelade, Obst, Müsli und leckeren herzhaften Taschen. Für uns könnte es etwas abwechslungsreicher sein, also bspw ein anderer Käse oder Pancakes/Waffeln/Avocado/Rührei mit Feta/ etc. Für die meisten wird das Frühstück aber super sein, wir sind da nur vielleicht etwas anspruchsvoll. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Fön, ein Bügeleisen, einen Safe, eine Klimaanlage und einen Fernseher mit Netflix Funktion. Vor dem Haus kann man parken. Einen Supermarkt gibt es in 2 min Fußweg. Tolles griechisches Restaurant (Delfini) direkt neben der Unterkunft. Die Vermieterin ist super nett! Wir haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt :)

Erholsamer Urlaub auf einer sehr schönen Insel

Irini, die Besitzerin, war sehr nett und hat unsere Wünsche sofort umgesetzt. Das Frühstück hat sie immer versucht möglichst abwechslungsreich zu gestalten. Man isst auf dem Balkon des eigenen Apartments, Frühstück steht morgens zur Abholung bereit. Unser Apartment war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, hätte mir einen richtigen Schrank und Schubläden gewünscht statt der offenen Garderobe. Das Bett war seit langem mal wieder eines, bei dem man ohne Rückenschmerzen aufsteht! Die Küchenzeile beinhaltet alles was man braucht. Nur abspülen muss man von Hand. Das Bad war sauber und modern ausgestattet. Die Lage, wenn man mal da ist, ist sehr schön direkt am sauberen Strand. Es war sehr ruhig, was natürlich unsere Reisezeit- vor den Pfingstferien- begünstigt hat. Die Bucht ist sehr schön und bietet auf beiden Seiten Wandermöglichkeiten, was wir aufgrund der moderaten Temperaturen ausnutzen konnten. Auf alle Fälle bietet sich ein kleines Mietauto an, um erstmal hinzukommen und um Ausflüge zu machen. Wir hatten eines vom Flughafen weg, man kann sich aber im Ort.Die Straßen sind teils kriminell, aber das ist auf der ganzen Insel so. Die Entfernung zum Flughafen und die zu fahrende Strecke (ca. 1h) macht den Ort für viele vielleicht unattraktiver, was wir aber als Vorteil betrachten. Selbst zur Sommerferienzeit ist der Ort sicher nicht so überlaufen, auch weil es keine großen Hotelanlagen gibt, alles eher noch beschaulich. Essen kann man in den meisten Lokalen sehr gut und meist direkt am Strand, unser Favorit war das Restaurant Delfini drei Häuser weiter und das San George, auch nur wenige Gehminuten in die andere Richtung entfernt. Einkaufen kann man in zahlreichen kleinen Supermärkten, alles da was man braucht, falls man selber kochen möchte. Auch wenn sich unser geplanter Badeurlaub aufgrund des Wetters mehr in einen Wanderurlaub mit Baden war, es war schön. Die Insel ist auch eh zu schade, um nur am Strand zu liegen, so viele schöne Touren durch Oliven- und Zypressenwälder!

Als Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden nicht die beste Lage, denn man muss einfach viel Zeit auch für kürzere Strecken einplanen. Das nächste Mal buchen wir für unseren Aufenthalt zwei Unterkünfte, im Norden und dann im Süden.
