Extraordinary

Gardens, food, service, infinity pool, comfortable bed, view of the lush valley, afternoon tea. This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The service was above and beyond and the breakfast included a huge menu to choose from. Also, the restaurant for lunch and dinner was extensive and delicious.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in

I spent a very long time choosing a hotel in Ubud, cause there're so many beautiful options. In the end, I chose this one, and my expectations were not only met, but truly exceeded. The hotel is absolutely stunning! It looks brand new. There are not many guests, so if you're looking for peace, privacy and breathtaking views, this hotel is perfect for you. The infinity pool is quite large and exceptionally clean, with an incredible view over the jungle and rice terraces. The rooms are huge and beautifully designed, with a gigantic bathtub that also overlooks the jungle - an unforgettable experience. The room has everything you could need: a safe, a hairdryer, a large wardrobe and all the necessary bathroom amenities, everything is spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. They assisted us with everything we needed, yet were never intrusive. The breakfast selection is amazing, with something for every taste. The room rate also included afternoon tea with cakes and various activities such as yoga classes or guided walks. But tnh we didn't take advantage of any of these, cause we simply didn't want to leave the hotel - it was that perfect. It honestly feels like being inside a film. If you are deciding between several hotels in Ubud, choose this one without any doubt. You won't regret it!

GK Resort is the place to be for maximum relaxation.

If I ever go back to Bali and I definitely will. The people at GK Bali resort would be the reason. They were without a doubt some of the best parts of Bali. The people in Bali in general were amazing and a great time to be around. Bali is the place to be and GK Resort made it so much better.

It is a little far away from Ubud Central. 30-40 mins away might not be too bad for some, but i'm super impatient so that was a bit of a struggle for me, but the Resort was so great I ended up not really caring much.

If you're looking for the best resort in Bali please stop scrolling you have already find it. Everything in GK resort is perfect, the staff, the structure, the ambience. It's a bit far from the points of interest but taxis in Bali works perfectly and they are cheap so don't waste your time looking for another place!

This property ticked all of my boxes. Tucked in a quiet, serene area within Tegalalang. Facilities, superb. Staff warm, friendly and with keen and but not overbearing demeanour. The food, out of this world and very reasonably priced. I loved everything about GK Resort and would not hesitate to stay here again. Totally worth every penny.

Location was so beautiful and peaceful. 30 min ride on the back of a scooter to Ubud and we were always happy to head out of the busy city. Few places within walking distance do eat if you don’t want to go into the city. The restaurant at the resort is fairly basic but convenient. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Be mindful that anywhere in Bali will take 2x the time google maps tells you it will be so it took us about 4 hrs to get there from the airport but well worth it. We saw lots of wildlife just walking around the area. Beds and pillows were insanely comfortable!

More a boutique hotel than resort: loved it!

This is a little gem in quiet Sebatu with beautiful views onto a steep and lush valley. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves great food at very reasonable prices and the gardens are maintained to perfection. The infinity pool is stunning and quiet. The pretty Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple is at walking distance and the sights in Tampaksiring are around the corner - no traffic problems here!!

It shouldn’t be called a resort as it almost stopped us from booking this wonderful place. It has 8 immaculate rooms and 4 villas only - so peaceful!

The room had a nice view and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. We really appreciated their hospitality.

The room had a strong musty smell which made it hard to relax. The breakfast was average and not very tasty, and the drinks were overly sweet, it was obvious they had added sugar.

Our experience at GK Bali Resort was pure luxury. The private infinity pool in our villa offered breathtaking views and a true sense of escape. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. My wife and I recently returned to GK Bali Resort to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, and once again, it was perfect. This is hands down the best resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every single member of staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming - they go out of their way to make you feel at home, and it genuinely feels like they care about every guest’s experience. The resort itself remains just as beautiful and peaceful as we remembered. Nestled in the serene village of Sebatu, it's the perfect escape from the busier areas of Bali. The rooms are immaculate, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable - waking up to the view each morning is something special. The included breakfast and afternoon tea are highlights of the day. There’s a generous and delicious selection of both Indonesian and Western options, and the quality is consistently excellent. Dinner at the resort is also a great experience - the food is delicious and very reasonably priced, which is rare for a luxury resort like this. We couldn’t recommend GK Bali Resort more highly. It continues to exceed our expectations, and we already look forward to returning again in the future. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff who make this place so special.

This is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic jungle view . The room was absolutely perfect and comfortable The staff are so friendly, caring and cannot do enough to make your stay unforgettable. Everyone from reception, restaurant, cleaners and gardeners greet you with a warm smile and Balinese hospitality Breakfast was tasty with a great selection The coffee was delicious and the cocktails very tasty The swimming pool is very nice too I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others

The only thing is it is quite far from the center of Ubud , however the hotel do provide a free shuttle and grab is easy enough to get Ubud is a very busy with tourists and traffic so it was lovely to be away from that chaos

A piece of heaven - the best hotel i have ever been

If i can rate more that 10, i would definitely do ⭐️ This place is a piece of heaven and is so far the best hotel i ever stayed in my life ❤️! 🌴 Located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rice terraces and tropical jungle, it was the perfect place to disconnect and to chill. And it is close to many sightseeing and nd activities and this made it very easy for us to move everywhereand to avoid the central ubud traffic jam. 🛖The rooms were amazinly settled with authentic decoration, very clean, very well equipped and the view was breathtaking. It is a also very very kids and baby friendly. 🍔The restaurant also was very good with a large variety of foods and drinks, and the quantities were bery generous. 🙏 A very special thank you to the very unique and outstanding staff that made us feel like home! You were always there with your smile, kindness, attention and generosity ❤️ Thanks for taking care of our babies and for playing with them all the time ! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in jungle heaven!!!! The view was absolutely astonishing!!! The staff was amazing from reception to kitchen to service. All the staff were exceptional but a special mention to Deva. She took us on the walk to see the village and taught us how to make the blessings ( free of charge). She seemed very passionate to tell us about their culture. The food was amazing but I do not recommend the margarita pizza.

The stuff extraordinary nice and helpfull. The view was amazing. The rooms were very nice and clean. The pool was very fun. The food was tasty and well priced. It was a wonderfull experience that we would definitely repeat any time.

The only thing that we did not like was that the air-conditioning was oriented towards the bed but it is not as warm as other places in Bali so maybe not everyone needs it during the night.
