Villa Gong Sebatu

We had a great stay at Villa Gong, the villa was lovely with a great pool and bathroom. We loved the location, about 30 mins from Central Ubud so it was really relaxed but still had everything we needed including nice restaurants nearby and some great spas for massages.

Our stay at Villa Gong Sebatu was absolutely incredible, and we are happy to give it a perfect 10/10. Sebatu has become one of our favorite spots in Bali because it is so peaceful and authentic, offering a true escape that feels far more genuine than the busier areas. It really captures the spirit of the island in the best possible way. ​The villas themselves are beautiful and designed in a traditional style that allows you to truly immerse yourself in the Balinese way of life. We were very impressed with the daily cleaning service and the delicious breakfast served each morning, which always included fresh fruit. It was also incredibly convenient to have the option to rent a scooter directly from the villa or book a relaxing massage on-site. ​The location is perfect for those who like to explore, with many interesting temples and waterfalls nearby. We also loved that several great restaurants, cafes, small shops, and SPAs were all within a short walk. Everything we needed was right at our doorstep. ​What truly sets this place apart, however, is the people. The hospitality is on a completely different level, and the energy of the entire staff is so positive and welcoming. We want to give a special thank you to Yoga and Asta for their exceptional care and for going above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Asta, thank you very much!
