Absolutely everything was amazing. It's just like the photos. We also loved the free events every day - we made offerings one day, and Jama juice another day, and took part in the morning yoga. Just make sure you book in advance - we didn't realise you had to and so they still did the offering making with us, but they had to pop into town first to get the materials - very kind of them! The afternoon tea was a lovely touch, and the 30 minute massage was AMAZING. They even gave our 5 year old daughter a foot massage so she didn't feel left out (she loved it). So where this accommodation may seem more expensive than others, it really was worth it with everything included. Having the water temple a short walk down the road was an added bonus - it was so beautiful. Also with just a short taxi drive (or even walk was possible) there are some lovely restaurants round the corner with beautiful rice terrace views. This was our favourite stay and location during our 10 days in Bali.

The only reason this isn't a 10 is the wifi. We had hardly any signal in the room. But the hotel is aware of this and are working on it. Also the laundry service was expensive, so we chose to do this at a little place down the road.

We were here 10 years ago and again now, and it was still amazing. Are you looking for a place in nature to unwind, in traditional Balinese style, and with super friendly staff? Then you are going to love it here. We will definitely be back.

I love the area, its great to be off the beaten track and able to just get out and go for a walk and not be surrounded by tourists. The breakfast was great, not a buffet but plenty of choices and comes with juices and tea/coffee choices and a pastry and spreads basket that makes it feel like a buffet.

This was the 3rd time I have stayed at Puri Gangga as we love the secluded nature of the resort and the friendly staff and facilities. I stayed by myself this time and found that some of the facilities feel a little run down, specifically around the pool where the recliners, poolside tables, towel stand and sun umbrellas were all a bit dirty, moss-covered and/or broken. The pool towels were also heavily stained. In previous we have spent lots of time by the pool, ordering drinks and snacks but this time I chose to just use the small private pool connected to my suite.
