Let the warm sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico (and the delicious ocean breeze) help you relax at Sterling Sands. This family-friendly condo is located on the seventh floor, and therefore grants marvelous and unparalleled ocean and beach views from all the windows and especially the furnished balcony. Wood-look tile is everywhere in this condo, allowing guests to stay cool with no carpet in sight. Central air conditioning will also help everyone stay comfortable. This balcony is the perfect place to enjoy your daily cup of steamy coffee or some snacks at night while you listen to the waves crash on the shore.
Back inside, this Gulf-front retreat boasts an open floor plan that combines the kitchen, living room, and dining area for even more togetherness with your group. The built-in wall desk is perfect for completing remote work or schooling before visiting the beautiful Emerald Coast. Let the group unwind in the living area and watch a fun movie on the mounted 65-inch flatscreen SmartTV while you treat them to delicious snacks or even a full-course meal thanks to the fully equipped kitchen - it features all modern stainless steel appliances (and beautiful granite countertops) you need to create memorable meals.
If you'd like to have a barbecue during your stay, you can use any of the several shared gas grills available in the complex. Guests will have unlimited access to great shared amenities, such as an outdoor heated pool (heated all year round), hot tub, and even a fitness center. There are two walkways that take you directly to the beach, and each has a shower and spray-off area for your body, feet, and toys.
With an unbeatable location right on the beach, the free beach service provided (two beach chairs and one umbrella) will work wonders for you! If cooking isn't really your forte, there's no need to worry - there are a plethora of nearby restaurants such as Merlins Pizza, The Back Porch, Waffle House, and so much more. A WalMart SuperCenter is less than a mile to the east, and both a Publix Grocery and a Whole Foods Market are within two-and-a-half miles to the east. The number one attraction here is the beach, of course. But roughly 150 yards north is The Track - Destin. This is the perfect place to go if you're traveling with kids; this amusement park offers go-karts, mini-golf, kiddie rides, bumper cars, and more. One and a half miles east is the Henderson Beach State Park, which is a great option if you'd like to try something other than swimming and sunbathing. Here you can ride bikes through scenic trails, try your luck at fishing, enjoy hiking, or treat your friends to a fun picnic experience.

This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Condo was nice. There may have been a mix up with the TV controllers in that the remote in the main room did not adjust the tv beyond turning it on. There are parking fees and fees to use the pool. It was nice that the host provided for two of the beach chairs and umbrella. Other outside tents and furniture is not allowed.

Clean property. Gorgeous view. Lived that beach service was included. The only snag we had was the codes we were provided to the beach and pool access gates were incorrect. The maintenance man ended up giving us his code since ours was incorrect. I wpuld 100% stay here again.

Absolutely spotless condo. Beautifully decorated and gorgeous beach view. Large pool, very tidy in common spaces. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This condo provides a comfortable place to stay on the beach and the owners are gracious enough to include the beach setup, which is much appreciated!
Inside the condo you will find the basics with the kitchen appliances should you wish to stay home and cook - just bring your own spices/condiments! There is no underground parking provided for this unit but plenty of parking out front in the lot.
There is a storage closet outside the unit next to the front door with some beach toys left from previous guests which came in very handy! If your goal in coming to Destin is to be on the beach with a nice place to stay, this is your place. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
