Chambers Place

We really enjoyed the facilities, especially the two separate bedrooms and the lovely hot shower. The location was excellent, with a spacious garden and beautiful surroundings, making it particularly great for children. The kids loved seeing the animals, including chickens, goats, cats and guinea fowl. The Co-op supermarket was conveniently within walking distance, as were some wonderful forest walks. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, especially for families with children.

The kitchenette was convenient and well equipped with plates, cutlery and everything needed for simple meals. Although there was no stove, we knew this beforehand and managed to prepare our dinners using the microwave and kettle. The mini fridge was a nice addition, and having a sink to wash up afterwards was handy too. Perhaps an air fryer would be a great addition to make cooking a little easier? The only other thing worth mentioning is the privacy. There was someone living downstairs, which made the accommodation feel a little less private and independent than anticipated. We could also hear the TV from downstairs until around 11 pm on the night we stayed. Nothing too major, but something to be aware of if you're looking for a quieter, more private stay. Overall, we had a really lovely time! The beautiful surroundings, outdoor space and friendly animals made it a particularly special experience for the children. It's a wonderful place for families to relax, enjoy nature and spend some quality time together. We'd happily recommend it and return!

Caroline was there when I arrived and was very welcoming and showed me around and also where I could take the dog to do her business. The accommodation was spacious, clean and Caroline has added lots of little niceties that you wouldn't normally find. I was there for 4 nights, visiting friends and family all around! The location is perfect, nice and quiet but close enough to travel in any direction if you want to visit away from the immediate vicinity. Thank you for making me welcome and this is definitely somewhere I will return to.

I had nothing that I didn't like

Excellent location for visits in the neighborhood of Reading. Very quiet, spacious and comfortable. The animals in the yard are an extra, as is the airconditioning !

Fabulous amenities, everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable accommodation in a charming location. Would highly recommend.
