Up North Stays

What a wonderful week we had staying in The Granary! Absolutely everything is catered for in this gorgeous accommodation and if you love peaceful surroundings it doesn’t get better than this. The little decked area is such a lovely extra bonus to be able to sit and watch the sun going down listening to the birds singing and watching the grass blowing in the wind. Super comfy bed, pillows and duvet and the lounge furniture is the best! Electric adjustable recliners make for comfy relaxation after a long day walking or bike riding! The location is just perfect as far enough away from busier areas but easy to get to all of the places we wanted to visit. Vicki is so helpful and always on hand when we needed anything and we are very grateful for her wonderful hospitality. All of the small extra touches and the very generous welcome hamper go towards an extra special little home from home in this most beautiful part of the world. (We went to farm shop to get more jam and chutney!) we hope to return some day 🤗

The location was perfect. Central to everywhere we wanted to go. Beautifully furnished accommodation. Very relaxing.

Very clean, well equipped and functional. Very friendly and helpful host.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four, everything was pristine and beautifully presented! And Vicky was the most delightful host. 😊 So much to see & do around the local area, we’re definitely going to be booking again in the future! Thanks so much for a fabulous holiday, Jane & family
