Great location for a stay at the beach or Dunkerque in general.

The location was great with direct access to the huge beach, bars, and restaurants. Street Parking was always available. The sea and sunsets were enjoyable from our windows.

I wish there were a safe in the apartment. There was no AC, which is usually not a problem in Dunkerque, but we happened to rent during the Heat Wave of 2025. The apartment is on the 5th floor (4ème étage) with no elevator, so it can be difficult to access for people with limited mobility.

Right at the beach and Promenade

Great location, right at the beach. Good communication with the host.

There was no shower gel or shampoo so make sure to bring some. There are about 4 or 5 flights of stairs and no lift.

Gorgeous Dunkirk flat

Location was amazing and really close to the beach, had a lovely feel to the place and the skyline was beautiful especially at night. Host were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Would happily stay here again.

The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable but not unbearable and there are lots of stairs to climb to get to the flat on the top floor.

Beachside in Dunkirk

It is right on the beach and close to cafes, bars and food. Free parking in the street was a bonus. Close to public transport. Within walking distance to the Museum

Cost efficient, comfortable stay at centre of town. Stone's throw from beach.

At a later than expected arrival, we arrived close to midnight. This was no problem, we had messaged in advance, the door to the stairwell opened and going up the stairs, the lock box did the job. The windows kept out noise from the street - it was a Friday night and we saw people dancing in the pub at arrival, but heard nothing in the apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was no shower gel in the shower. It would be an easy fix and a welcome addition for travellers passing through.

Great apartment on the beach nice and quiet but loads of good restaurants and cafés near by. Bed was comfy nice and warm with all you needed in the apartment.

Verzorgd appartement met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Voorzien van beddegoed, badlinnen, afwasmiddel, toiletpapier, etc..

Hoewel op de foto’s enigszinds af te leiden, geen vermelding van de verdieping of afwezigheid van lift.

Tolle Strandlage & gemütliche Wohnung

Die Wohnung hat eine super Lage direkt am Strand, man kann nachts das Meer rauschen hören 😍 es war alles schön sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Leichter & unkomplizierter Zugang dank Schlüsselbox.

Für die Parkplatzsuche muss man in der Saison etwas Zeit einplanen, wir mussten leider einige hundert Meter entfernt parken und unsere Sachen bis zum Apartment tragen & dann in den 4. Stock. Habe ich vor der Anreise gelesen, aber es ist echt anstrengender als gedacht diese vielen Stufen jedes Mal zu laufen, besonders mit Gepäck.

Les 4 étages sans ascenseur Pas de chauffage dans la salle de bains, quelques degrés de plus auraient été appréciables en général (malgré le réglage du thermostat)n mais normal pour un immeuble ancien.

Direkt am "Digue" und am Strand gelegen. Das Zimmer ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit modernen Möbeln und Geräten. Toller Ausblick und trotz der Lage nicht zu laut draußen. Sehr gute Restaurants in Laufweite, die Weinkneipe mit Livemusik direkt um die Ecke. Ein schöner Aufenthalt trotz der genannten Startschwierigkeiten.

Ein Minuspunkt: Am ersten Tag starker Geruch von Reinigungsmittel im Treppenhaus und Essigreiniger in der Wohnung. Das war unnötig (sauber geht auch ohne scharfe Reiniger) und hoffentlich ein Versehen.
