Maison à Malo les bains à 5mn de la plage

Passage dans la région pour un road trip, nous avons pu découvrir Malo. Puis un super logement très propre et chaleureux. Bien équipés et belle accueil

The owner's daughter, Alisson, met us off the bus and walked us to the apartment and showed us all the amenities and how to open/shut the blinds. The apartment is very conveniently located, a short walk from the 'Blue Post' and the beach, and a bus stop to Dunkirk around the corner. There are a few restaurants and bars, including a wood-fired pizza place, on the way to the beachfront and then the promenade to Dunkirk is lined with restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is great, with everything you need to cater for yourself, including an oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of crockery, and a washing machine. The open plan dining/lounge area at the front is filled with natural light and the two bedrooms overlook nice trees and gardens at the back.

The shower is lovely, with good water pressure, but be sure to place a towel or absorbent cloth at the edge of the shower tray to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. On the (Sunday) morning of our departure, we waited to hand back the key and ended up catching a later train to Calais missing our 3pm ferry. We had to wait to catch the 7pm ferry, which messed up all of our trains back in the UK. It would help if there was a keybox to allow guests to keave early in the morning to catch trains/ferries/flights. Otherwise, this was a perfect place to enjoy a few days visiting Malo Les Bains, Dunkirk, and Gravelines

The location to Dunkirk beach was fantastic - 5 minute walk. The apartment was perfectly clean and had all we needed. The parking was great and the staff were very helpful.

We could not get any water as there were no shops nearby. However the tap water did taste fine and after a google search we found it is safe to drink.

La literie n’est vraiment pas confortable, un des lit est cassé . Les portes grincent très fort et il y a de la moisissure à la salle de bain. Une des plinthes est toute décollée et pourrie à force de prendre l’eau. Même en faisant attention , il y a de l’eau partout quand on prend sa douche.
