Would have preferred to have basic toiletries and perhaps complimentary tea and coffee but prices reflects these are missing, not a grumble though.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay in the perfect location.

Location was great and the chalet park was lovely and peaceful. Plenty of outdoor space and parking close by. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful.

Maybe a bigger sofa for a larger group of people to relax on. There was a problem with the water blocking in the bathroom sink but often happens on holiday sites. Managed OK despite this small problem.

The tv kept coming on randomly including 5.15 in the morning. We took the plugs out to stop this bout the owners need to know.

Brilliant little weekend breaks

Perfect little set up to get away! Had everything you needed and felt so cosy, brilliant at messaging back and forth and I even left my earrings and they got them back to me.

Ok for a couple of nights but wouldn’t stay there again

The location was convenient for the purpose of our trip. The site was nice and quiet the price was ok. The beds were comfortable with nice clean sheets and warm duvets. Communication from the owners was good and they seemed friendly.

The chalet could do with renovation and a really good clean. It was tired and in need of some maintenance in all areas especially the floor and ceiling. The oven was filthy and the drawers were filled with a random assortment of cutlery, dvd’s, cables, bits of jewellery, a plastic animal and other odds and ends! The flooring is starting to warp and gaps have started to appear between the floorboards. The blinds have seen better days and are held together with sellotape in places and has bits missing in others! . And finally, the tv turns itself on in the middle of the night!

New Year in Chappelle

Well equipped and comfortable

Cold, damp, black mould ridden, run down and unliveable.

The bed was okay, there were no bed bugs and the table was big enough for 4 people to sit around comfortably.

Everything else. It was so cold I had to get extra blankets and a heater from a friend, there was only one pillow slip between 4 pillows. The kitchen was shocking, the only cooking facilities were a table top oven that was filthy and hobs on top of that high were too high to reach. The black mould, damp and the place itself was run down. I honestly thought that the ceiling was going to fall in, there are complaints from a year ago. The place has actually gotten worse in that time, the owners are happy enough to take your money but they’re not spending it to keep the chalet in good condition. It was also extension lead plugged into extension lead, the floor boards are raised causing a trip hazard. I had to move to a hotel due to the property being in its condition.

Disappointing stay

Park was very nice, location good. Nice bedding.

Chalet in poor condition, bathroom smelt mouldy, we wouldn't even use the shower, bed very uncomfortable and whoever sleeps near the wall has to climb over the other person to get out, sofa hard to sit on as when you tried to lean back the base kept sliding forward as it was a sofa bed. Small table top cooker but couldn't find any trays to cook with so didn't use it. Definitely in need of refurbishment.
