Warm, friendly and comfortable!

It was a very nice and welcoming hotel, with friendly staff. As a solo traveller I felt safe there. My room was spotless, with all the amenities I needed for my stay. The bed was so comfy that I overslept and nearly missed breakfast!

I wasn’t keen on the location, but it was fine as the city view made up for it.

Enjoyable food and staff at bar very friendly.

Lovely hotel friendly staff. We did get the wrong room to begin with. Should have been a city view with bathrobes slippers and expresso coffee machine. Reception changed our room had to wait for housekeeping to add the extras. Overall though very nice stay breakfast was good and lovely you can bring your dogs along. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, well laid out room. Breakfast had lots of choices and quantities of items. The staff were very helpful.

Lift maintenance - there were one lift out the whole weekend and another that didn't work the first night. This meant people attended the event and breakfast were inconvenienced.

Amazing

Room was very modern and clean. 2 showers. an over head and a normal. Bed and pillows comfy. Reception staff very friendly. Had the breakfast which was lovely. Especially with smashed avocado as an option! Millennium car park is across the road. £12.70 for 24 hours parking. Attendant on site also in the car park. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, bible! Refrigerator and toiletries for bathroom in the room also. Only thing you need to bring is toothpaste.

We felt very welcome on arrival and the staff were happy to help with all queries. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable.

The large beds were incredibly comfortable & the room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The bathroom light is at the front door. It was infuriating to have to switch the light on and then walk to the end of the room to use the bathroom. Also the sliding door was noisy & unnecessary. The glass door meant it was almost impossible to sleep if someone uses the bathroom in the night. Change the doors to normal wooden, opening doors with a lock please. And move the light switch. And you can tell that a man designed the rooms. No mirror above the table to dry/style hair.

Great stay with family for Aston open day

Helpful staff - we arrived soaked to the skin after a storm, and the receptionist immediately had a heater sent to our room to help us dry our clothes and shoes. Great breakfast. Ability to store luggage free after checkout was much appreciated. Lobby was a nice space to sit. Location was great for visiting Aston University.

We attended an awards ceremony. All we had to do was turn up. but all good.

Breakfast was good. It was very busy when we arrived, appeared to be short staffed. but no complaints on food. I particularly loved the bedroom / bathroom. Really good quality.

Good room size, and good room temperature.. The beds were big and very comfortable and the shower was really great. Although out of the city centre centre, it was an easy 15 minute walk

No parking on site but easy parking at the multi-storey carpark just a few minutes walk away (possible to park for more than 24 hours, £12.80/24hrs).

Great location for Birmingham shopping

The location is great for the Blend gathering and the whole day/evening was fabulous. The food was excellent and all the staff that delivered that were polite. All through the day everywhere was fully stocked with tea/coffee/juices etc.

How dirty the bathroom was. There was poo all over the toilet, which I had to clean off! The offering of pillows is quite poor, definitely take your own. We had breakfast at 8am and there was no scrambled egg which we then had to wait for, considering the main people staying were attending the conference, that was poor. The staff were checking the tea bags etc but not the cooked offering.

Pleasant enough

We thought the room was great. A good size and roomy bathroom (although shower leaked all over floor) Beds were very comfortable with nice linen. Breakfast was a good variety and nice staff.

The front office staff. Not very helpful or friendly. Most times that we went to the front desk to ask for help or information I felt as though we were interrupting them and giving help was just to hard for them to do. They couldn't tell us anything really about parking, except that there was a parking lot at the end of the street. Couldn't advise cost, if we could come and go, or any help with street parking. Being from Australia, we could not use the parking app as we couldn't register with a phone number - they could not suggest any help. There was a charge for absolutely everything.

Comfortable and relaxing

Excellent location easy to find from m6, free on street parking from 19.30 - 8am. Modern appealing decor, friendly staff, good room amenities great restaurant

Room could have been better presented issue with fingerprints and marks all over window, no soap at bathroom sink, dirty soap dish, no shampoo in shower. Only 2 milk pods available, have stayed many times and always better

I would go there again but not on a rainy day with the walk to the multi storey carpark!

Room size and bathroom was good. Breakfast buffet cooked well. Clean.

There is no allocated parking at the venue as advertised. Only once you have booked it and paid, it says the nearest parking is a multi storey carpark, which is a short work. The initial advert saying they have parking available was deceiving. I let the staff know but there wasn’t much they could do, other than give me a free breakfast.

Fantastic, modern and spacious rooms.

Good hotel, Good Breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Bathroom and Shower were excellent.

Nothing really, only thing is it is a little bit of a walk to centre of town - But personally I enjoyed that - I was working in Digbeth and really enjoyed the walk along the canal.
